A new day is here! The sun shines more bright than ever, the birds are singing like there's no tomorrow, and the rats are still somehow stuck in a rat king. The only problem with the day is that no one knows what the hell happened to Lukas and Drew.
"Do any of you guys know where they've gone?" Ethan is pacing across the room, hoping that Lukas is still okay.
"Sorry man! None of us have a goddamn clue on where the ladyboy and Sarah's friend ran off too!" Hannah is not really that helpful as always. She was also filing her nails while this was going on for some reason. Her hair was also put up in a pony tail today, which bitch boy Mark has yet to see.
"Yeah Ethan, we've got no clue…" Sarah added, even though we already knew her stance. "Why don't you ask Mark? He stayed with Lukas a little while longer, remember?" She reminded him.
"Oh yeah…" Ethan was kind of nervous about visiting him again. "Were is he?"
"He's in the infirmary right now" Sarah shows him her hand. "C'mon I'll bring you to him!" Ethan reluctantly takes it.
Mark was jamming out to some terrible music, instead of doing work like the bum he is. He was also eating some leftover fried chicken from last week, getting a bunch of grease all over the place.
*knock knock!
"Hey, Mark! You in here?" Mark felt his heart drop to the floor in a matter of milliseconds. He immediately turns off his music, and wipes the grease onto his pants before cracking the door open.
"W-what's up?!" they both could clearly tell this wasn't doing anything productive. "Why'd you call out my name?"
"Ethan and I were wondering where you last saw Lukas and Drew? They both haven't shown up since yesterday and we're getting a little worried" Sarah said. "Since you were with them last, I figured that you would know about their whereabouts?"
Mark shakes his head. "No not really, I just remember Lukas showing Drew the missing children's poster… is that all you need?" Mark squints his eyes.
"Yep. Pretty much…" Sarah confirms.
"Well great! I need to go back to what I'm doing, so if you could please don't interrupt me again that would be great!" He shuts the door right after saying that.
"Wow. I completely forgot about the poster… they must've gone searching for that kid and never came back!" Ethan realised. "I've got to go find them!" He tries to book it for the door, but Sarah grabs his hand and stops him in his tracks.
"I'll come with you!" she says whilst giving him a thumbs up.
Hannah was on her phone, doing nothing besides lounging around, but at the corner of her eye, she saw both Ethan and Sarah, running through the hallway. She gets up and yells at them, but Sarah just yells back that they were both going somewhere and that she shouldn't worry about it.
The two of them make it outside, to see that it was directly noon. They hadn't even realised how long they were looking around the station for those two.
They both start wandering around the parking lot, and looking around for some place to start off at. Then, they both see something a little while away. It seemed to be an abandoned car repair store that was currently being looked at by some A.C.P.D. officers. There was a bunch of tape wrapped around the neighboring area, and some random people were staring at what they were doing.
Ethan points over to the place. "C'mon, let's get going!" They both started running over there as fast as they could.
There was a family of three, on-looking at one of the most gruesome crime scenes in this day and age. "Daddy! What happened there?" the 8 year old child tugged on his dad's pant leg. "It's nothing that you need to worry about Jackyie! Why don't we all go for some ice cream—"
"H-hey! Excuse me sir!" Their dad looked behind him to see two random adults running full speed at him and his family. He didn't know what was even going on, but he didn't have the energy to run away.
Once they get within an arm's length, they both come to an abrupt stop, and catch their breath. Sarah managed to pant out: "d-do you know what happened here?!" While Ethan was trying not to cough, and a couple inches behind. The dad doesn't really know what to say. He asks his wife to cover Jackyie's ears before he says anything. "Apparently there was some raid at midnight yesterday, two maniacs were murdering people and stuffing them into boxes!" him and his wife looked super worried. "They said that they were the ones rampaging Tempest for the longest time now!"
Sarah has almost fully catched her breath by now. "Do you maybe know any of the names of the maniacs?" she asked in between pants.
"Their main guy with a weir' mohawk said somethin' about a, Lukas? Don' know abou' the othe' on thou…" some southern lady interjects out of nowhere. Ethan and Sarah both go silent for a second, trying to process what this hill-Billie just said.
"W-what do you mean Lukas?!" Ethan's voice starts to shake.
"Yea! This Lukas guy wit' long matted hair, and bugged out eyes, was ge'in scolded by the weir' mohawk dude! I even heard from some others tha' they were a par' of a station!" she spits onto the ground. "Honestly I knew 'em fuckers were up to somethin'. Never trusted 'em…"
Ethan's face was filled to the brim with defeat. "Ok… thanks…" he turns around and starts to walk back. Sarah took a minute to process their word, before noticing for far away he had gotten, and ran back over to him.
They both walk away in silence. The wife uncovers Jackyie eyes, they both wonder what their deal is.
Ethan is seen slamming the driver's seat door closed, and grips his hand tightly onto the steering wheel. He then softly slams his head into the horn. Sarah pulls up to the window, and repeatedly knocks onto the window until he lifts his head, and sees her motion to roll the window down.
"Where are you going?" She asks him, seeming to be just as down in the dumps.
"I'm going back to station #52. There's something I need to do right now…" He says with an unexpected amount sternness in his voice.
"O-ok, I'll notify the others about the situation and where you're going. Just stay safe out there for all of us, okay?" She gives him a comforting smile. Before heading back inside.
Ethan rolls up the window, just to make sure nobody could hear him. "Why do you guys have to get in this situation now?!" He yells at no one but himself.
