All of their eyes widened when they heard what he just said. They didn't even know what to say. Xavier thought that maybe, just maybe, this freak of nature was just pulling their leg. But of course he wasn't why would he be?
"You heard what I said. KILL THEM!" Taylor ordered; flailing his gun around like a maniac.
One of the random civilians still trapped inside, started to weep silently in the corner of the joint. Sadly for them though, it wasn't nearly silent enough for them to not overhear. Taylor heard them and pointed somewhere underneath a booth. "Over there! That's gonna be your first target!" he said.
Sam, looks down at her hands to see the box cutter Taylor had given her. She then looked up at Taylor, to see him motioning her over there. She could tell that he was getting a little impatient.
Her head was spinning just from the thought of this. I mean, they've only killed murderers, and other horrible people; but not an innocent civilian.
Out of nowhere, Xavier snatches the box cutter out of her hands, and walks over to the crying person. He taps them on the shoulder, and they look up and start screaming. They clasped their hands together and begged him that they wouldn't tell a soul. Xavier just tuned them out, before stabbing them in the throat while pinning them down. The blade didn't go in all the way, so he had to really jam it in there before blood started to flow. Xavier watched as they writhed in pain, trying to stop the bleeding. He started to make even more cuts, just so that the civilians' suffering wasn't prolonged for too long. As the civilians light from their eyes faded, Xavier just stared at them; the civilian watched as something cracked in Xavier's mind. Almost as if he'd given up.
Once the stranger died. Xavier got off of their body, and wiped away the blood on him. He then walked back over to all of them slowly. He noticed that Sam and Short King looked horrified at what he'd done. He didn't mind, he knew he was technically in the wrong; but he didn't care. He handed the box cutter back to Taylor and said: "done." in an almost robotic voice.
"Wow! That was quick! Didn't know you had that in you…" Taylor gave him a compliment. "It looks like that was the last one though… unless?" Taylor turned his head, Over to Sam and Short King. Xavier looks at him funny, but then he realises what he meant.
"W-what?! You can't kill us!! Aren't we supposed to help you?!" Sam's speech was getting more and more erratic.
"Why not? You guys are clearly not meant for the job!" Taylor says. "Plus, mohawk dude was the only one to show some initiative. Now I'll I have to do is make sure he follows orders like a good boy…" Taylor hands him his gun an the boxcutter back; which Xavier takes without hesitation. He begins to slowly inch his way over to the both of them. They panic, and try to bolt it out of the door. But Taylor is already blocking it with a smile on his face.
"Don't worry about me guys…" Xavier still had the robotic voice. "Everything will be okay… just leave it up to me…"he grabbed Short king by the neck, and started to strangle him. Sam tries to get him off, but Taylor grabs her by her waist and whispers. "It's already over hun…"
Short King's face started to turn purple; and he looked down to see that Xavier's eyes had lost all colour, almost like he had cataracts. He tried to punch Xavier off of him, but his grip started to tighten, so he stopped fighting. His legs were flailing in the air, and his arms were going more and more numb by the second. Again, Xavier watched as his ex-friends' eyes lost their light; he watched with almost a curious look on his face. Short King, after a while, was dropped onto the floor. Sam wasn't sure if he was dead or not, but tears started flowing down her face anyway.
"Who said you get to cry?" Xavier doesn't even look at her when he says this.
"W-what are you talking about?!" she somehow chokes out. Taylor could tell that he was about to get some juicy drama.
"You know how much I loved you, Sam. You were, the only person I could say that I loved. I thought we were gonna get married and live the rest of our lives together with two kids!" Xavier points to Short King's limp body. "But your bitch ass had to get with this fucker instead of me. So… I took care of the problem"
"A-are you fucking kidding me?!" Sam screams. "You killed him because I chose him over you?!" she tries to escape; but Taylor wants to see where this is gonna go.
"Yes." he said with complete confidence; which Taylor was really impressed with.
He walks up to her and gets two inches away from her face. She starts shaking, and begging him to spare her; but at this point Xavier has fully lost it. He puts the boxcutter on her neck, and pushes it in just enough to draw blood. She screams as he does this. He then takes said boxcutter, and starts to cut off a piece of skin from her cheek. He takes the cheek skin, and feeds it to Taylor. after that, with enough precision to put a brain surgeon to shame. He starts trying to carve out her right eye. He puts the boxcutter next to her tear duct, and precedes to push it in. He then cuts around the perimeter of her eye, and starts sawing at the optic nerve, fully disconnecting it from her brain. She's still screaming in agony, so Taylor covers her mouth to muffle her annoying voice. Her left eye starts to get puffy; with Xavier slashing it multiple times. Causing her to completely go blind.
"You done yet, kid?" Taylor was starting to get really bored.
"Yep, hold on for a second…" Xavier grabs her by the neck, and twisted it. Causing her to die instantly. Her body flopped to the ground in one massive thud. Then the two of them look at each other.
"I thought you guys didn't kill good people?" Taylor inquired.
"Yeah well, I don't give two shits anymore. I want everyone dead!!" He screams at the top of his lungs, having to get Taylor to shut him up.
"Alrighty then, if we're done here then lemme just light this bitch up into flames. These guys are too mutilated for use anyway…" He lights a match, and walks back behind to counter for a second time.
He sees some spilt grease, and throws a match on it, making it light up and less than a second.
"That should be enough. C'mon! We got more stuff to do!" Taylor walks over to him and puts his hand over Xavier's shoulders. Guiding him out of the place, just as he sees the flames start to get bigger, and bigger. The only thing that he could think of at the moment, was how freeing that made him feel. Almost like his true self just broke out of prison.
