Chapter 2 - You Have No Idea Who You're Dealing With...

Suddenly, the door of Asher's room was kicked open, and Leo stepped inside with Chloe by his side. Both of them looked furious, their faces twisted in anger as they glared at him.

"You... you little shit!" Leo shouted, storming towards Asher with his fists clenched. "How dare you! How dare you almost die in our pool and cause trouble for me! Do you have any idea what Dad would have done to me if you didn't wake up?"

Chloe followed close behind, her blue eyes filled with rage. "Do you really need others to save your ass even when you're drowning? Why can't you do anything right, Asher? You're nothing but a failure and a disgrace to this family!"

Asher didn't flinch at their outburst, didn't even blink as they screamed at him. Instead, he just looked at them with a cool and composed expression.

He found their anger amusing. Leo was the one who had pushed him into the pool, knowing full well he couldn't swim. And now, here he was, pretending to be the victim, acting as if Asher had done something wrong.

As for Chloe, she was always like this. She was the kind of person who loved to look down on others and make them feel small. To her, Asher was just another target for her to bully and humiliate.

"Did you hear me, you little shit?" Leo growled, stepping closer to Asher and glaring at him. "Answer me, you good-for-nothing piece of trash!"

Asher just raised an eyebrow, a hint of a smile on his face. "You really have a short temper, don't you? But I suppose that's to be expected from someone whose only claim to fame is being the eldest son."

"What... what did you just say?!" Leo's face turned bright red with rage. He couldn't believe Asher had the audacity to talk back to him, especially in front of Chloe. "How dare you talk to me like that! I'm your older brother! You should show me respect!"

"Respect? You want me to respect you? That's rich coming from someone who pushed his own brother into a pool knowing he couldn't swim." Asher let out a small laugh, his grey eyes locked onto Leo's furious gaze. A cold smile played on his lips, as if he found Leo's outburst to be nothing more than an insignificant tantrum.

But Asher knew Leo's ego couldn't handle this sudden shift.

After all, in the past, Asher would've trembled in fear, cowering under Leo's aggressive stare.

Instead, Asher met his gaze head-on with unwavering confidence, making Leo look more and more like a child throwing a fit.

And the thing that annoyed Leo even more was the fact that Asher was standing up for himself and talking back in front of Chloe, making him look weak and foolish.

"How dare you talk back to me?" Leo spat through gritted teeth, stepping closer to Asher until they were face to face. "Do you have a death wish, Asher? Because I swear to God, I will make you regret this!"

Yet, to Leo's shock, Asher remained completely unfazed. He didn't even move as Leo got in his face, just stared back at him with an expression that could almost be described as bored.

"No... you're the one who will regret this, brother. So before you make things any worse, you should take that attitude of yours and leave my room. For my current good mood, I'll let this one slide. However..." Asher paused for a moment before adding in a deadly, quiet voice. "If you keep pissing me off, I'll be forced to put you in your place. Do we understand each other?"

For a moment, the room was completely silent. No one said a word as they stared at each other. Then Leo's anger exploded like a bomb. Without warning, he swung his arm back and launched a punch straight towards Asher's face.

"Leo, wait!" Chloe gasped, shocked by the sudden violence as Leo's fist flew toward Asher's face.

However, before the punch could land, Asher's hand moved like lightning. In one swift motion, he caught Leo's fist in midair, stopping it inches from his face. Despite being physically weaker, his precise movement and perfect grip showed he was in total control of the situation.

Then, with a sudden and violent twist, Asher twisted Leo's arm. A loud, sickening crack rang out as Leo's arm dislocated. He screamed in pain as he fell to his knees, his arm hanging limply at his side. His arrogant expression crumbled into one of pure terror.

"You... what have you done?!" he yelled, looking up at Asher with a mix of pain and shock. "My arm...! Why... how?!"

Before Leo could get an answer, Asher knelt beside him and drove a fist straight into his stomach. The air rushed out of Leo's lungs in a loud gasp, and he doubled over in pain.

Chloe stood frozen beside them, watching the scene unfold in disbelief. Asher, who had always been a meek and submissive little boy, had just overpowered her fiancé and injured him.

Her mind was reeling as she struggled to understand what had just happened. Leo was bigger, stronger, and much more experienced in fighting than Asher. So how had Asher been able to do that to him?

Meanwhile, Asher stood over Leo with an icy look of disdain. The change in him was so sudden and extreme that it was hard to believe this was the same person who, a while ago, had nearly drowned in the pool.

Without hesitation, Asher reached out and grabbed Leo by the hair, pulling his head back and forcing him to look up at him. He stared into Leo's frightened eyes for a moment before speaking.

"You really are an idiot," he said coldly, "and you have no idea who you're dealing with. So let me give you a piece of advice... Don't you dare try to challenge me again or do something so pathetic again. Because next time, I'll be the one drowning you. And mark my words, I won't save you like you tried to save me. I'll just let you sink like the garbage you are."

And with that, Asher let go of Leo's hair and watched as he collapsed to the floor, gasping for breath.

A cruel, sadistic smile appeared on Asher's face as he felt a thrill run through his veins. It felt good to have someone beneath him, to see them helpless and powerless.

"Y-you..." Leo struggled to speak as he coughed. "You'll pay for this! Dad... Dad will hear about this! He'll...!"

"Yeah, yeah. Go and cry to your dear daddy. Maybe he'll fix your arm. But until then, I want you out of my room. Now," Asher cut in, his voice hard as steel. There was no mercy or compassion in his tone, only pure cold authority.

Without another word, Leo got up, gritting his teeth against the pain. Then he stumbled out of the room, holding his arm close to his chest. He didn't even pay attention to Chloe as he walked past her.

Asher watched him go before turning his attention to Chloe, who was still standing frozen in shock. He slowly walked towards her, closing the distance between them with confident steps.

Chloe swallowed hard, suddenly feeling a sense of fear and vulnerability she hadn't experienced before. Something in Asher's eyes made her want to run away, but her legs wouldn't move.
