Chapter 11 - Chapter 11: Face to Face with the Truth

The corridor felt unusually quiet. Lila walked slowly. There was no hesitation in her eyes anymore Only determination. She stopped in front of a door.

Principal's Office Without knocking

She stepped inside.

Mrs. Carter was sitting at her desk.

She looked up.

Not surprised at all. "I knew you would come," she said calmly.

Lila closed the door behind her.

Then walked forward.

"So you knew everything from the beginning," Lila said coldly.

Mrs. Carter gave a faint smile.

"You're just like your mother… stubborn."

Lila's eyes darkened.

"What happened to my family?" she asked directly.

Silence.

Then—

Mrs. Carter stood up.

She walked slowly toward the window. "Your family…"

She spoke softly.

"Was very powerful." Lila said nothing.

Listening.

"This school… once belonged to the Noir family."

A flicker of fire passed through Lila's eyes.

"But power creates enemies,"

"And enemies bring destruction."

"The night of the fire…"

She paused.

"It was not an accident."

The air turned heavy. Lila's fists clenched.

"Then… who did it?" she asked, her voice low.

Mrs. Carter turned to face her.

There was something dark in her eyes. "Can you handle the truth?"

"I will know everything," Lila said firmly.

A moment—

Their eyes locked.

Then—

Mrs. Carter spoke slowly—

"The ones who destroyed your family…"

"One of them—"

Suddenly—

The door burst open. Aria stood there.

Breathing fast.

Her eyes filled with fear—

And confusion.

"What… is going on here?" she asked, her voice trembling.

Lila fell silent.

Mrs. Carter's expression shifted again.

Calm.

Controlled.

"You're in the wrong place, Aria," she said.

Aria stepped forward.

"No… I want to know everything…"

Her eyes moved to Lila.

A strange pull.

A familiar feeling.

Lila's face hardened.

"Leave," she said coldly.

Aria froze.

"But—"

"I said leave."

Silence.

Aria slowly stepped back.

But before leaving—

She looked at Lila one more time.

"…Sister?"

Lila's eyes trembled—

Just for a second.

The door closed.

Silence returned. Aria stood there.

Breathing fast.

Her eyes filled with fear—

And confusion.

"What… is going on here?" she asked, her voice trembling.

Lila fell silent.
