As they sailed out to sea, Rigel finally told Calypso what he was planning, and she looked at him in confusion.
Why on earth did he want to do that?
Rigel didn't explain much, instead, he picked up a zombie he had prepared. Calypso shrugged and used her wand to transfigure the zombie, just as Rigel had asked.
Her transformation was far superior to Rigel's, it only took a moment for the zombie to look perfectly like Rigel.
Rigel nodded in satisfaction, then pulled out another ship that had been prepared earlier. Its size was almost the same as Ragnarok's. Calypso transfigured the ship again, it clearly resembled Ragnarok perfectly. Calypso's transfiguration used divine power, it was better to say she had transmuted rather than transfigured. Whether it was the zombie or the ship, they wouldn't revert to their previous form if she didn't want them to.
Even the zombie's lifeless white eyes turned black, like Rigel's.
This was Rigel's final act, the zombies quickly transitioned to the Ragnarok replica, but Ragnarok, instead, entered its ghostly state, invisible, incorporeal, floating in the air above the 'new' Ragnarok.
Calypso looked at it in surprise, it was the first time Rigel had used it, but soon Ragnarok began its march towards London.
What Rigel wanted to do was simple, the end of his adventure, something that would make him famous for generations, something that would inspire writers, musicians, painters, sculptors...
He would imitate Gol D. Roger's scene!
Of course, he didn't want to die, so the zombie took over.
He only needed to let 'Rigel' surrender to the English and have him killed in a public square. Considering Rigel's infamy, he would probably be hanged in a public square, or burned, judging by the fact that they considered him a witch.
Before 'dying', the zombie only needed to say the right lines and that would be the perfect ending to this adventure.
On his way to England, Rigel stopped at a point in the sea. Calypso helped him not only pull the Silent Mary from the sea but also repair it. Rigel looked at the ship with curiosity. In the end, he transformed it into a bottle and used the magic passport to take it with him as well. This left him with only two remaining. He thought he would probably use this for two more ships among those he still had.
The journey continued.
Midway through his journey, Rigel was surprised by what he saw. Still floating in the air, following the 'Ragnarok', he saw that ahead of him, a huge fleet was approaching from the horizon.
A fleet so large that Rigel was speechless for a moment, there were at least 300 warships.
They were clearly targeting him, the ships on the sides sped up, trying to surround the Ragnarok.
Rigel looked at it, he had wanted to surrender before, but a battle like this... it would surely make his story greater.
Rigel sighed, initially he hadn't intended to involve his subordinates in this, but now it seemed that the previous farewell would have been in vain.
Placing his hand on his hat, feeling its power, he spoke softly. "My beloved subordinates, answer my call one last time."
He didn't really need to say anything, he just felt like doing it.
The next moment, he activated the power of the hat, another power he had never used in this world.
Behind Ragnarok and the false Ragnarok, a series of ripples appeared.
Before the shocked eyes of the English fleet, one ship after another passed through the ripples, Will, Elizabeth, Anamaria, more than 20 ships of Rigel's direct subordinates emerged from the waves, but that was not the end, the pirate lords and their ships, even Edward Teague's own ship, followed.
The pirates were still in shock, some were on their ships, others were not, but in the next moment, they all ended up on their ships while the ships sailed on their own, and when they came to, they were here.
Rigel's direct subordinates were the first to take up positions, seeing the enemy fleet, they did not hesitate, drawing their swords and guns.
The pirate lords quickly understood what was happening as well, some less happy than others, but in the end, they all drew their swords, they would fight.
Jack Sparrow was the most unhappy of all, he looked at the enemy fleet, feeling that his bad luck in meeting Rigel was truly tremendous.
Even so, with Gibbs already leaping to ward off evil, he too drew his sword, there was no turning back.
Rigel smiled, placing his wand against his throat. He controlled the zombie below to mimic his movements and cast the Sonorus spell. The next moment, his voice echoed throughout his fleet, even reaching the enemy fleet.
"Come, my subordinates, this is my last order as your king" Rigel said. "Kill!"
The word "kill" echoed deeply across the sea, which fell temporarily silent. The next moment, the hat's effect was activated again, Captain's Blessing, and the pirates felt a tremendous surge of energy within themselves.
It was unknown who was the first, but the roar that shook the sea was heard from every pirate ship.
A general 100% improvement in attributes, courage reached its peak, even Jack felt as if today was a day worth dying for.
Rigel's eyes grew cold.
"Go!" Rigel shouted.
The hat's effect activated once again, each ship in the fleet gained a speed boost, propelled forward by the wind and waves themselves.
On the other side, Lord Becket's eyes were already wide open, he wasn't a man who believed in witchcraft, but at that moment, he sensed that this ambush could end in an unpredictable way.
Even so, he wouldn't stop now. "Attack." He spoke softly. The clearly superior number of ships gave him courage.
The two fleets advanced against each other, the pirate force clearly much smaller, but the pirates didn't care about that now.
As the ships drew closer, the cannons were the first to fire, the sound was deafening, hundreds of ships firing together.
Rigel also knew that although he wanted to be captured by the English, he couldn't let the pirate fleet be completely destroyed just to increase his fame.
So, he waved his wand, Diabolus appeared directly from the air, but nobody cared, the enormous 50-meter snake lunged forward, swallowing an English ship whole, cries of pain were heard as the ship itself emitted black smoke, decomposing.
The English were shocked and fear prevailed, which made them even less motivated, while the pirates became even more euphoric.
"Do you need help?" Calypso asked curiously.
Rigel simply shook his head, controlling Diabolus to swallow another ship. If Calypso helped, the task of allowing 'himself' to be captured would become even more difficult.
The minutes ticked by quickly as the fast-paced battle claimed lives continuously. The English ships were like headless chickens, ship after ship began to fall apart.
The pirate ships, on the other hand, only one had sunk so far, at this rate, it wouldn't take long for the English to be eliminated. Knowing this, he turned to Calypso and said. "Tell them to flee."
Calypso looked at him in surprise, but still gave the order. This surprised the pirates, but an order was an order, and they quickly began to flee while Rigel controlled Diabolus to attack the ships that tried to stop the English Navy.
Another pirate ship had sunk, but by that time, more than 100 English ships had already sunk, it was a massacre.
Rigel controlled the zombie to continue fighting, and soon the 'Ragnarok' was sunk. But even when the pirates realized Rigel had been shipwrecked, he had Calypso transmit his voice, letting them know he was alright, and that this was all part of the plan.
His subordinates were confused, but in the end, they all listened to his orders and left. The most reluctant were Rigel's former subordinates, but the power of the hat, maintaining their loyalty, made them obey Rigel's order.
Zombie Rigel was captured 'alive', making Lord Becket, who thought he was lost, finally smile with relief.
He didn't understand why the pirates fled when they had a clear advantage, but thinking about it, they were pirates, you couldn't trust them. Perhaps they wanted to get rid of this "king" over their heads.
Rigel, above, watched the ships save whoever they could and in the end turn back, heading for London. Lord Becket was excited about the reward the king had granted him, even with this loss, he would probably be promoted at least to viscount!
Rigel observed everything from the air, smiling slightly. He steered the ship to follow the fleet. Calypso was still curious as to why Rigel wanted to do this, but she imagined it was probably to fake his death.
