Its been two weeks since ryan and his pokemon challenged the forest.
It was difficult but all of them had grown from the experience.

Both of Ryan's pokemon had leveled up alot but charmander needed a catalyst for evolution.
Ryan on the other hand after 2 weeks of meditation managed to feel a flicker of aura.
Still not able to do anything with it besides sense a feet around him buts its progress.
"Thanks guys! Will come and visit alright!"
Ryan was waving at all the pokemon in the clearing who are waving back aswell even the gruff pangoro who wasnt sure of them at first.
Walking back through the forest alone as both his pokemon are resting to get there full strength back.
"Alright lets see what I got from these boxs"
Ryan opens box number one and got a TM
Aqua cutter: (type water physical power 70, increase chance of critical hit)
"This would be great on frogadier, alright box number two"
Ability capsule: (will always generate a positive ability for pokemon
"Nice a free ability capsule and always a positive is good aswell. Box Number 3 here we go."

"Interesting I wonder how it would work on an evolution stone or on the ability capsule?"
"Whatever I need to get to academy before the tournament starts."
With that ryan starts running out of the forest and towards the academy not wanting to be late.

"Where is ryan, Michael?"
"I have no idea yuki I hope big bro is alright."
Michael, yuki and the rest of there class is in the battle arena lined up about to draw lots for who battles who first.
In the stands are all the students parents and trainers who come to watch for fun.
"That loser probably didnt want to show and loose to me. Im a 100 times stronger then when I lost to him before."
"Yeah right aron, big bro is on his way."
"Will see, I cant wait to take that charmander from him."
Aron laughs and goes back to his spot next to his minions.
Yuki and micheal grit there teeth but look over and see ryan jumping over the fence.
"Im here!"
Everyone from the stands looked at ryan and already decided he was the worst trainer.
"That boy cant even make it on time."
"Look at him hes dirty as well."
The students on the other were all cursing in there minds because most know hes gonna win todays tournament.
Headmaster striker from his seat on the stage about to draw lots sighs but could see the effort that ryan put in the last 2 weeks.
"Now that were all here the raffel begins now."
"Students come up one at a time and pick a number that will be your number for the remainder of the tournament."
"We have many battle fields so we will be doing the first 64 students first and after a match is finsh the next set of students will compete."
There were 130 students which means two students get a by round and if you win all six of your matches you are the champion.
Ryan walked on stage and headmaster striker gave ryan a small smile as ryan picked his number.
'Number 15 I guess im one of the first to battle.'
"What number you get ryan? I got 60."
"It seems will be meeting in the semifinals i got 15."
"I won't lose this time, I got a new pokemon that will be my trumpcard."
"Well yuki may the best trainer win."
Ryan smirks and walks off to his battle field where he sees a classmate who was scared stiff seeing him.
'Whats this guy name? Eh it doesnt matter'
"Both trainers throw there pokemon out and may the battle begin."
The referee blew his whistle and ryan threw charmnader out to kick things off while his classmate threw polywag out.

Ryan sweatdrops seeing his classmate thinking he got a win in the bag due to type advantage.
"Charmander, fire dragon roar and dont over do it."
Charmander nods and unleashes a torrent of fire at polywag.
"Polwag use water gun!"
Despite the type advantage the water gun does nothing to deter a fire dragon roar from charmander as polywag gets instantly knocked out.
"Polwag is unable to battle charmander wins."
"Ho-ow?"
"Because my charmander is much stronger then polywag."
Ryan returns charmander and goes to the seats set up for trainer and of course ryan was the only one there.
20 minutes later trainers started to show up having won the matches.
'Oh yeah I forgot to teach frogadier aqua cutter, ill teach it to him tonight.'
"So you must by the Long boy master striker talked about."
Ryan looks behind him and saw a tall blonde hair man around 40 years old, he was wearing an expensive shirt with pants to match.
"Um I guess, who are you?"
"My names Jack O'Neil the gym leader of high rise city."
"He asked me to save a pokemon for the winner of this little tournament, he thinks your going to win without a doubt."
"I just wanted to meet the kid who might be taking a pokemon from my breeding center."
"Oh, sorry about that the headmaster kind of through that into the bet I made against this witch who im related to."
"Hahhahaha I see family squabble huh, I understand."
" I saw your match earlier your charmnader is well trained already at the level to evolve i think as well."
"Thank you gym leader O'Neil, charmander was my second pokemon I got but isnt far behind my starter."
"Really thats interesting. One day come challenge my gym I think I'll look forward to that battle."
"Dont worry once im strong enough you'll be my first choice. You might regret inviting after though."
"I like that attitude, be confident. Thats what it takes to be a champion."
"I may only be a gym leader thats only because the slots for the elite four are filled for the moment."

O'Neil smiles and walks off toward his seat in the stands to continue watching young trainer battle.

Ryan had heard his number being requested and walked toward his arena ready to win this whole tournament.
