Ryan was sitting alone in a guest room that was given to him by Jaden late at night giving aura to shinx's egg.
"A little more should do."
Ryan sticks his tongue out in concentration as the egg cracks up and shinx pops out tackling ryan into the bed.
"Wow there big guy."
Big guy was accurate as a normal shinx is about 1'8", ryans shinx is almost as big as a luxio at 2'8 a whole foot bigger.
'This guy will be a monster when he evolves into a luxray. It must be because of its slanking parent'
"Shinx?"
Shinx looks confused as to whats going on which is understandable since it was just born.
"Here i want to give you a gift big guy."
Ryan pulls out the zekrom lighting essence and gave it to shinx. Its eye lit up as electricity sparked around its body.
After shinx was done sparking ryan nudged a pokeball to its head and caught it.

'I wonder if I caught shinx first before giving it zekroms lighting would it still be gold?'
"Lets open these boxs I got, red first."

"Interesting, thats a one peice thing. Im gonna save this. Maybe ill find a swordsman type Pokémon if there are any."

"Oh baby this perfect for shinx, my shinx is gonna be the raikage of pokemon."
Ryan equipped it then looked at shinxs stats and was suprised by what the system said

"Wait pokemon that have different pokemon parents have different stats!?"
"Lets do the math here, a luxray base attack, speed and defense is 120, 70 and 80 add 50% to that is ah.... math."
Ryan takes a minute to count in his head having never been great at math.
"So 180 attack, 105 speed and 120 defense. Shinx is gonna be a speed tank and thanks to Zekrom essence he has no negatives."
"Wait if shinx masters lighting armor which adds 25% increase to all stats, thats a 225 base attack stat."
"No other pokemon has that high attack, thats incredible. Imagine if it had it huge power as well."
Ryan mouth watered a little thinking about having huge power on a muscle bound luxray.
" wait I have ability capsule."
When using an ability capsule ryan could see what ability he would give to the pokemon.
Ding-shinx may trade intimidate for keen eyes
" well not doing that, intimidate is good aswell. Bummer though."
Ding-host has captured three pokemon the sign in wheel is now available.
"What is this?"
Ding-every day host may use the wheel to get various rewards from TM, special skills or items. 100 days you will automatically spin a gold tier reward.
"Gold tier rewards are game changers, with this my team will level way easier."
"Right now frogadier needs more variety, charmeleon needs better control with its new body and shinx need to learn pretty everthing."
"Well lets do the first spin and see what I get."
Ding- trainer has spun the sign in wheel for the first time automatically rewards gold reward
"First spin got a gold i think im crying tears of joy."
Ding-trainers has gotten the unique skill wood realease.
(Effects: pokemon equipped will have access to all wood realease techniques. Pokemon will be able to cultivate sage mode if potential is atleast champion level. Will be available once equipped to pokemon.)
(Passive skill: equipped pokemon leveling speed X2, sage body,equipped pokemon potential is raised by one rank)
"Hashirama senju wood realease is op as hell, If I find a good grass type this will be the god of shinobi 2.0"
"Dang im tired."
Ryan yawns and realizes its one in the morning and goes to bed a big grin on his face.
------next morning------
"Big bro wake up, its breakfast!"
Jaden opens the door and runs in shaking ryan awake. Getting up ryan hair sticking up and a little drool is still on his cheek.
"Thanks kid give a few minutes and ill be down."
" ok, hurry up though mom made pancakes."
Running out the room ryan stretches and checks his system for his daily prize.
Ding-trainer has spun the wheel and gain green tier unique skill.
"Ah only green but unique skills are always good"

(Effect: pokemon is given better control of there aura granting 10% less energy when using moves. Allows pokemon to use aura to stick to walls amd water.)
"Oh this aint bad at all in the long run, its basically chakra control in Naruto"
" this fights frogadier pretty well I think."
Ryan equips it on to frogadier and checks over all his pokemons levels.

'There leveling fine but it would be better if I can get more ingredients for them, now that I have shinx money gonna be tight.'
Sighing ryan walks down stairs fixing his hair while following the smell of pancakes.
After finding the kitchen ryan saw Jaden and jack sitting at the table while a blonde women hes never met is stacking pancakes.
"Look who woke up, ryan this is my wife Claire."
"Its nice to meet you Mrs.O'Neil."
"You aswell ryan I hope your right after yesterday, jack told me what happened."
"Me and my pokemon are just fine thank you for asking."
"Well hon, if you need anything let me know. My husband and I owe you alot for protecting Jaden."
"She's right ryan, as a gym leader and father I thank you for protecting my son."
" Anything you need in the future ill help to the best of my ability."
"Thank you, if anything I need a way to get more resources for my pokemon, I barely had enough money with charmeleon and frogadier now with shinx..."
"I see, wait shinx hatched!"
"Yep last night, big fella he is."
"Really can I meet him big bro."
"Hahaha sure."
"Ah ah ah not at table you get meet shinx outside."
"Yes mom"
"About your money issue there might be a good way to make money, its called pokemon duel arena."
"Duel arena?"
"Yes around the country people can use the duel arena to battle others, you can choose to bet money or items during these battles."
"Why haven't I heard of this before!"
"Well the thing is you have to have either be a professional trainer, be rich or have a waiver from someone with connections."
"Your lucky you know someone that can vouch for ya."
"Who?"
All three O'Neil give him a blank stare as Jack face palms.
"Me ding dong"
"Oh haha yeah I knew that."
"Jeez your a battle genius but that Noggin of yours."
"Enough talk lets eat."
The O'Neil and ryan all ate there pancakes and ryan loved them not having a home-cooked meal in awhile.
He told Mr.O'Neil and made her a little sad but thanked him anyway.
Outside ryan released shinx and gym leader O'Neil was surprised at how big shinx was praising ryan for have a good eye for pokemon.
Jack O'Neil made a few calls and got ryan an idea to allow him to battle in the arena which ryan was very thankful for.
It was getting into noon when jack borrowed claire pidgeot again to take ryan back to his home.
