Keifer's Pov
Jay: "You could have just called my assistant and left the hospital, why did you bring me here?"
Keifer: "Are you serious? How am I supposed to leave to like that."
Jay: "I mean I know hospitals are difficult for you."
Keifer: "Please stop, you here and you are my responsibility and now you just have to take rest and stop thinking."
Jay: "I mean I feel like I making you do all this for me, it kind of makes me feel like a burden." She whispered the last,
Keifer: "What? You are being ridiculous now, and didn't you say that you are my friend, and it goes both way and I am going to take care and you are staying here until you get alright. And no more talks like this, Understood?"
She nodded her head cutely, which made chuckle and want to pinch her cheeks,
Jay: "But, seriously thanks, I mean I don't know what to say." She said with a little teared up eyes and I wanted to lighten up her mood,
Keifer: "It's okay, I am your husband after all ." I said with a playful smirk and wiped her tears,
For which she chuckled, which made me relieve,
Keifer: "Okay, now rest"
she nodded and I went out to call her assistant and make sure she brings all the necessities that she might require and dress and everything else she might need,
The nurse came,
N: "Sir, it's time for her check up"
Keifer: "Yeah, sure she is resting" and waited outside for the check up to be over,
Keifer: "Everything is normal right"
N: "Yeah she is fine, I just gave her some medicine, now you can give her some food and after that medicines to be taken after food should be given "
Keifer: "Yeah, I'll take care thanks"
Jay's Pov
All I remembered was I was hit by a car and Keifer's face before I lost my consciousness and I woke up in his room with all the equipment around me, everything required was there except this wasn't a hospital, It was his apartment,
and he did this all for me, I don't know how to put it into words because no one has ever done something like this for me, I mean put me first before themselves,
I mean he took me to the hospital even though he knows it will hurt him, I am really grateful for him to be in my life, I mean I should have done something right,
He overcame his fears just so he could be there for me and that thought itself brought me to tears and he didn't stop there, he brought me to his house just so he could take of me, I mean who does that. I don't how Freya could leave this guy, I mean he is doing all of this for me and imagine what he would do for someone he loves, I mean they will be the luckiest I guess.
After that the nurse came i for my check up,
She was doing her work and in the middle she smiled at me and started talking,
N: "Your husband really loves you"
I was stunned for a minute and I realised she was talking about Keifer,
I smiled and asked,
Jay: "Why do you say that?"
she chuckles and then respond,
N: "You should have seen him at the hospital, it felt he was fighting for his own life and also he cried a lot, like I have rarely seen men cry like that even during difficult situation, he was worried a lot and I am surprised he even know the change in the monitor through the sound, you should have seen him how panicked he was and he only calmed down when I said everything was fine"
I don't know why when she said that my eyes teared a bit and I smiled at her, I felt something in heart that I couldn't explain, Thinking he cried for me made me realise, he might not say it out loud but he cares for me more than he shows and I don't have much friends too, so when someone showed me even an ounce of care I feel happy and blessed, I am blessed to have him in my life.
Just like he read my mind he came inside.
I smiled at him and so did he,
He talked with the nurse and went back again and came back with the food,
I tried to sit up but it was difficult and painfull, Keifer immediately placed the food down and came to help me,
Keifer: "Hey, what are you doing?"
I groan and speak,
Jay: "I was trying to get up , so I could the food from you."
Keifer: "For you kind information you just survived an accident, and you are not Wonder Woman. So don't move, I'll take of everything."
Jay: "But."
He gave me scolding look and I went silent,
Then he helped me to sit, and brought the food and sat beside me,
And started feeding me and in the middle he looked at me differently, I couldn't quite place the look,
I just raised my eyebrows and he nodded his head in a no, and continued feeding me and after he was done he wiped my mouth and feed me water.
He literally treated me like a child and that's when I remembered what the nurse said how he cared for me and I smiled.
He was about to settle down beside me, but that's when the bell rang,
Keifer: "I will check and come."
He went outside.
