The forest was calm.
Leaves rustled softly as the wind moved through the trees.
"Stay here," Vance said, turning his back on the trembling goblin.
'For now, I should follow One's lead,' Vance walked toward the valley as the leaves crunched beneath his feet.
'Only four made it,' Vance thought as he stepped closer.
"..and I'm Cael Virex," One said, Vance arrived as introductions ended
Cael turned, "we were just finishing, what your name Sixteen?"
"Vance Grave," He kept it short.
"Are we going to wait in the forest until noon?" Five asked gently.
"No," Cael replied. "We need to find a neutral zone"
"Why?" Six asked, leaning against a tree.
"Because we don't know what's out here," Cael said. "And not everyone has mana enhancements, Darius."
"Yeah, I get it," Derius smirked, "then how are we going to find this neutral zone?"
Ceal glanced at Vance, "We can just ask the goblin."
"I don't mind but I'm going to need a favor from you." Vance said.
Cael's eyes narrowed slightly, "like what?"
"You said everyone is scattered across this world," Ceal nodded.
"I'm going to need your help finding a few of those people," Vance said.
"The best I can do is find help you look in the neutral zone," Ceal replied.
"That's fine," Vance said, "you're help means a lot, the people I'm looking for are very dear to me."
A faint chuckle escaped Darius lips.
"I'm sorry," he said with a smile on his face. "I didn't take you as the sentimental type."
"As people we all have someone or something we cherish," Ceal cut in. "I'll help you find your friend or family"
Then the ladger in Vance right hand glowed as golden chains lashed out binding him and Ceal.
"I understand" Vance said instantly 'for the skill to activate, all I need is to establish an clear agreement on both sides'
'In this situation I offer the goblins information in exchange for Ceal help,' Vance could help but smirk.
'But first I should try to find the skills limit' Vance glanced at Derius.
"I understand" Ceal said.
Vance turned back to the forest.
A leaf drifted down, landing on Jennifer's shoulder as she talked with Five.
The leaves crunched beneath their feet as they walked past the tree's.
"Vance you should join the church of fate," Cael said, with goblin's figures in sight.
"I've never been a religious person," Vance replied. "But we are in different world maybe it's time I change that."
He looked to Cael with a gentle smile "tell me about the benefits of choosing a god."
Everyone leaned in.
Cael smiled, "thats the right choice because the world is easier under a god."
Vance eyes narrowed.
"You'll get a system tailored to each god as well place to stay and protection."
"These things are important to establish your fondation in this world"
Their pace slowed down.
"Because without that, your certain to die when the war begins"
"Mas..aster" Skritch said, his head peeking from behind a tree.
'War?' Vance thoughts, 'will it happen in a months or years?'
"Vance," someone called out.
'If I don't find my debtors before this war begins, my losses will keep climbing,' his jaw clenched, 'that can't be allowed to happen.'
"Vance," Jennifer voice snapped him back to reality.
"What?" Vance said in a calmed tone.
"The goblin doesn't wants to come closer" She pointed to a tree.
Skritch peeked from behind clearly unwilling to come closer.
Darius leaned against a tree with eyes shut while other tried to talk to the goblin.
Five stepped forward slowly.
"Come here little guy," Five said softly to Skritch.
"Come here," with Cael following her lead then.
Vance said, "Do you know a neutral zone?"
"Yes..yes human," Skritch said.
"Lead us there," Vance said.
Skritch nodded and walked off.
Everyone followed with the sky was still red and the sun behind them.
