I hung around Ezra throughout the rest of the day. I refused to take a walk in the open with him when he suggested it, not wanting to remind everyone that I was still with him after he saved me in the morning.
Wouldn't want b words getting to the king, which would make him realize that I disobeyed his orders.
Right now, we were in his music room, and he was playing a beautiful song on his piano. He looked like the first Ezra I came across, the playful, teasing and flirty one, and not the one from this morning.
"Are you sure you don't want me to see you off?" He asked, walking me to his door. I shook my head once again.
"I promise that I'll be fine."
Violet is most likely gonna wait till tomorrow to try getting back at me.
So I'll be fine tonight.
He leaned even closer and my breath caught in my throat. "You gonna give me a kiss now?" He drawled lowly and my heart almost exploded from my chest, my eyes flying open.
