"Put me down, everyone is watching." I whispered, struggling but he only tightened his hold around me, a small snort leaving him.
"Let them. I don't care."
My heart pulsed with a thrill of excitement and I shondgsdbad it completely engulfed me. I haven't ever been defended like this, in public for that matter.
"Thank you, for getting me out of that situation." I whispered quietly.
"Of course." He affirmed, flashing me a grin that contrasted the Ezra I just witnessed put Violet in her place.
It feels so much better than I could have imagined. I never expected anyone to save me out of that situation, and the fact that Ezra didn't just save me, he also put Violet in her place in front of everyone, made a pleased thrill shoot through my entire body.
Violet would most likely come back harder for me later. That's already a given and I didn't know how to feel about that.
When Ezra finally set me down, I looked around and realized we were in his wing area.
