This was insane.
Really insane.
That was the only thought running through my head as I entered the teachers' washroom, my pulse already uneven from how reckless this entire situation was becoming.
Two teachers had just walked out moments earlier, and I still couldn't understand how Jean had even managed to get in here with them inside.
'It's really not insane,' the voice inside my head rose immediately, sounding almost excited by all this.
I cut it off instantly.
'Shut the hell up,' I thought sharply.
But even as I silenced it, I couldn't ignore something that had slowly started happening to me lately. I was getting used to its presence. Used to another consciousness existing inside me, reacting to things with me, speaking to me, listening to me.
And if I was being honest with myself, there were moments now where I no longer felt completely alone because of it.
Even when everyone around me thought I was.
