Chapter 3 - Foster 3

1. Foster placed the little girl on a chair, "Stay there, I'm buying some food and water." The little girl obeyed clutching his teddy bear, "Mister, what is your name?" the girl asked.

"I'm foster Smith, just call me Mister Foster," he smiled.

2. "How did you break that wall Mister Foster?" The little girl asked.

"Oh… actually, It's a miracle performed by God! When you're with him, nothing is impossible."

3. "Are you perhaps his son, Mister Foster?" The sound of the girls voice felt innocent to Foster.

"No…"

"…When I was reading the story of Moses, I learned that he was a prophet. Are you a prophet Mister?"

4. "No."

"Then what are you?"

Foster looked at her, then his gaze drifted to the sky.

"A man who has a strong faith with God."

5. After minutes of praying and eating together, the mother of the little girl rushed toward him for a slap. Foster instinctively blocked it with his left-hand, and The Holy Spirit has calmed her.

6. "How dare you take my own child from the appointed son of God?" The mother of the little girl asked, panting.

"Sorry to destroy your faith, but there's only one appointed son of God."

"It's Solomon Van—"

"Jesus," Foster cuts her off.

7. "You were blinded by the false god that's why the devil placed a blindfold on your eye; you were cursing at me and praising the false god that's why the devil lured you away from him," Foster replied, voice firm. "…I have the evidence that shows that your so-called appointed son of God is nothing but a con-artist."

8. After revealing her everything, she didn't replied metaphorically or poetically, she gave him a straight conclusion: "Those who were baptized by him can't leave anymore."

"Why?" Foster asked.

9. "Those who leave will perish from the land of the living for it was written in the new modern bible Vane 10:20 'Those who turned against me will perish from the land of the living'"

10. "There is no God who'd hurt his children; there is no God who'd restrain his children with chains. The one and only true God gives his children free wills."

11. "…But this church changed my life," the mother calmly replied.

"But ruined your child," Foster showed him the photo.

12. "I will say this again, and I won't stop shouting it from the top of my lungs, even if Solomon Vane hears it: Jesus is King!!!"

——————Foster will give Solomon Vane's forced followers freedom—————————

13. It was night time. Foster and the mother which named "Anastasia" and the little girl "Yanna" snuck inside the church's dormitory for Solomon Vane's forced followers.

The dormitory was meters away from Solomon Vane's room, so waking up these people wouldn't cause any noise.

14. He woke them up with the help of Anastasia and Yanna. The forced followers gathered, forming a circle.

"…Friends, have faith with the one true God. I will give you freedom!"

15. Some thinks that he's crazy and some just yawned due to the lost of hope; one man stood up and walked closer and asked: "And how are 'ya giving us freedom? The government in this country protects those people with bigger pictures attached on every billboards; calling the police wouldn't stop him."

16. "Who said anything about calling the police?" Foster replied.

"…Then who?"

"The one true God!"

17. The skeptical man shudders and cursed him, "Screw you and your god! Nothing can save us here now!"

Foster raised his voice, "…If you had enough faith to believe, you will be saved—for it is written!"

18. A blonde lady walks up and asked: "I've read about this, there was a prophet who was tasked by God to free the israelites from slavery."

"The book of Exodus—It's moses." The other man cuts in.

19. The skeptical man was so puzzled, he turned around to face Faster and walk toward him, "…No way dude, are you trying to be prophet?"

"I am the inheritor of the book of exodus."

The man cursed him once again: "I don't have time for this non-sense."

20.Foster didn't know what to say anymore, and yet he believed—he took a deep breath and placed his hand on his head.

"His name is Harry Jones."

"Harry Jones, do you believe that Jesus was crucified for the sins of all mankind?"

21. "How did you—"

"I was demanding for an answer!"

"I-I don't know…"

22. "Why? Because you were restrained by the chains of Solomon Vane and threatens every one here that who would turn against him will be killed!" Foster shouted. "…Every single one of you lost your faith to him, and I was the key to restore that!"

23. "For I am the Inheritor of the book of Exodus!"

24. "Make us believe then…" the teenager who was lying on the bed cuts in.

"I will Tyrone, just you wait…"

The teenager couldn't believe what he's hearing; he never met this man before and yet somehow he knew the skeptical man's name as well as his.

25. "Just you wait…" Foster walks out of the dormitory and stopped as soon as he opened the exit door. "God will save all of you, if you believe."

————Foster's confrontation——————

26. He randomly stepped quietly inside the main church during daytime. There was Solomon Vane with bandages strapped around his right-hand.

"Why have you come here?" Solomon Vane turned around to face him.

27. "Did you come here to repent for your sins and ask for forgiveness?"

Foster simply replied with: "No, I've come here to demand to let your followers go."

28. "Could you say that again?"

Foster narrowed his eyes, "…I said, let your forced followers go!"

29. "Those people had been baptized by me, and those who were baptized shouldn't turn against the appointed son of God, for it is written in Vane—"

"What? You're new modern bible you worked hard to make using a cheap typewriter or maybe written using a software called microsoft word?"

30. "How dare you mock the son of God!"

"How dare you enslave those people!"

Foster shouted back in response.

"Last warning, or the 6th to 2nd floor of your building will collapse at the exact time of 12 noon."

31. "How dare you threaten the son of God! My father will protect me and so this church!"

32. Foster just simply turned around and walked away, before he exits the main church—he jumped and touched the ceiling with his left hand.

33. Harry Jones and the rest waited in the dormitory along with Foster Smith.

"It's 11:58, I really swear on my life—this Foster dude is also delusional like Solomon Vane." Harry retorted.

34. "Believe, my friends."

The minute finger of the analog clock suddenly moved: 11:59

35. "I already told him, there is only one God."

Foster said.

Tyrone never moved his gaze away from the building until the 12o'clock arrived.

36. Cracks started to form on the wall from the 6th floor, crawling all the way down to the 2nd floor. Before Solomon Vane could even enter his church the building suddenly collapsed. Every metals and cement that is keeping the church stable suddenly broke off.

Filling the whole place with brown dusts that the causes un-breatheable air to spread.

37. "Watch out, Lord Vane!" Yelled one of the guards and covered him.

The so-called appointed son of God stood there, staring blankly at the wreckage of his delusions. The dust spreaded across his white tuxedo, dirting it with a contrast of dark-brown.

38. "WHY FATHER!!" he yelled.

39. The next day, Foster Smith walked again inside the new small church across the street. A chapel built by Solomon Vane himself as a resemblance of his power.

"Let them go!" Foster demanded.

"I SAID NO!" Vane retorted.

39. "God will send plagues circulating around only in your church and no true children of God will be affected," He said. Before he left, a lady in a white dress walks up to Vane and clings to his arm. "Your wife?"

Foster asked.

"Yes, we're both blessed by my father and leave my church once again!"

40. When his wife was about to count the money in his husband's closer—suddenly, a swarm of locusts bursted out of the closet.

Vane's wife screamed in terror as the insects crawled on her, some went into her mouth.

41.The next day, "Let these people go!"

"NO!!!"

42. His guards began to fall unconcious as rashes started to form on their faces. The other day came once again where Foster's demand were declined. Over and over again, all of the plagues that were written in the book of Exodus all came but nothing changed Vane's mind.

43. "There's nothing we can do now," Tyrone cuts through the silence of the dormitory. "We're all gonna end up as Vane's slaves."

Foster remained silent as he asked God for: "What else can I do, Lord?"

He looked around and remembered what changed the Pharaoh's mind in the book of Exodus is when the Angel of Death was casted.

"My friends, this is the last chance."
