Chapter 2 - Foster 2

1. Inside The Church of the Living World felt more like a senate hearing more than a church to pray. Foster walked inside with a book and pen in his right hand, everyone greeted him with a smile that looked forced, as he entered the entrance of the main church of the building. The four people who greeted him looked familiar to him—despite that, there are bruises on their shoulders.

2. There was a lady who was wrapping her stomach with bandage to hide the bruise that Foster has already seen. The fach he already knew that he'd already seen these people somewhere more vivid, he slightly shook his head and headed straight inside the main church.

3. Inside the main church the chairs and tables are positioned in a tiered semicircular seating, it looked more like a meeting than a place to pray and ask god for guidance. 1 Hour ago, he researched the correct clothing and color coding of the church to finally fit in without asking the head to reduce suspicion.

4. More and more people gathered and sat on each chairs wearing white clothes. There was a little girl holding a teddy bear clutching his mom's dress as if she didn't want to lose her.

His eyes were widened; he placed his hand on his head as he looked away, panting, "She was real."

5. The beautiful white outfit looked aesthetic on the outside, and yet hides a psychological and a physical scar on the inside which Foster had already seen. He pondered How will I write the truth?

6. A man wearing a white tuxedo walked in the center holding a white book; foster's eyes was so sharp he read the title, "The new modern bible."

7. Foster fists were clenching but he remained calm, "A self proclaimed son of God," he whispered—for he knows that there's only one God to worship.

8. "My children let us stand up for I the appointed son of God stood before you and tell you the good news," the man that looked like a priest wasn't the one who Foster tought he would be, but was the man who claims to be the son of God.

9. Everyone clapped as they raised their hands in the air, leaving Foster as a different color among them. He knew these people are not worshiping but doing a performance for the false son's delusion as the son of God.

10. "Can't they just switch religion and leave this delusional man inside his church, I have so many questions right now, God," he muttered. His right hand suddenly moved and wrote something on his book that says "Threat."

11. Foster pondered, and then realized. They're not trapped by their spiritual beliefs; they're trapped because of fear that this priest would hurt them.

12. The false-son suddenly opened his book then a verse with an unfamiliar gospel flashed on the screen above him that says, "Vane 12:8" The so-called son of God pointed at himself then says "I, Solomon Vane the appointed son of God is the truth and the way."

13. There are no other appointed son of God but Jesus Christ who was crucified for the sins of all mankind.

14. A mere human who proclaims to be God and rejects the words from the true God is blasphemous, unless they repent.

15. After the 1 hour and 30 minutes mass, Foster walked through the hallway writing on his book—suddenly, he saw the little girl once again clutching on his mother's dress who stood in front of a mysterious brown door.

The door opened and the so-called son of God emerged from the room; the room all along was a baptizing room.

16. "I came here to baptize my daughter to be saved by you, Lord Solomon," she said, bowing. The little couldn't understand what's happening—her mom moved her hand away from her dress. The girl had nothing to clutch on except her teddy bear.

17. The mother of the child forced her little girl to enter the room, all alone with self-proclaimed God.

18. Once the mother left and the door was shut closed; Foster rushed to it and pressed his right ear against the door. To his surprise he heard nothing but the sound of the low-humming air-conditioning inside.

19. He scanned the hallway and saw no one; he decided to tilt the door with his right hand, it didn't tilt nor budge, in other word 'Locked', "How? How?! How?"

And there he remembered what God said to him, Your left-hand will act as the staff that will perform miracles created by me.

20. He believed and slowly reached his left-hand to the doorknob. He tilted it and suddenly—the doorknob tilted and suddenly opened.

21. Inside the room was cold, nothing but books created by Solomon Vane and a large portrait of him attached to a wall. It looked more like a bedroom than a baptizing room, Foster felt something was off.

22.He walked in and observed the room, The Holy Spirit inside him felt like it was warning him to leave but he had faith in God.

23. There was no one inside but a king sized bed and a bathroom. He gathered all of his courage to walk and open the bathroom, his hands were shaking as if he drank 12 energy drinks.

24. When he placed his left-hand on the doorknob, he took a deep breath then slam open the door—and there, he saw the horrifying truth of the self-proclaimed god.

25. He was hurting the little girl because it was fighting back, the bruises on the girl's cheek was too visible even a man with a blurred vision would see. "Seramonia 2:34 never ever fight back when the appointed son of God baptize you, ungrateful BRAT!

26. Foster looked at Solomon with widened eyes then to the liitle girl. His right hand instinctively moved to reach his phone and successfully took a clear shot of the scene. The sound of the shutter from the camera was loud enough to echo inside the bathroom.

27. "How blasphemous of you to enter the appointed son of God's room! You've commited a sin!" Solomon barked.

"How blasphemous of you to reject the true God's word and create your own!!" Foster yelled in response. "Let go of the kid!"

"Mister please save me!" The little kid shouted as she wailed.

28. "You shall perish from my kingdom!" Solomon Vane pulled out a gun and aimed it straight at Foster's face.

29. Foster couldn't move nor dodge because the bullet is faster than him; but God's miracle is faster than the speed of light. He used his arm to shield himself from the bullet—instead, his left arm was in front.

30. As he pulled the trigger; the gun exploded on his hand causing his hand to lose two fingers.

31. "Let's get out of here!" He exclaimed, as he began carrying the child as well as the teddy bear. They tried to exit through the door but Solomon Vane's guards heard the explosion and blocked their path.

32. Solomon Vane laughed as he clutched his bleeding right-hand, "My father had punished you from hurting his son!"

33. Foster prayed loudly, "Lord God, please help me and this little girl, we're stuck in a situation where 6 bullets could end our lives right now. I know I may be unworthy of you father for all the sins I've commited—"

34. Solomon Vane mocked him as he shooked his head, "His praying to my father, look what he's doing," he said, voice laced with laughter. "…Praying to my father won't save you young man! You've commited a sin inside his son's church."

35. Foster remained calm and said: "If you were the son of God, can you ask your father to create miracles right now?"

"It is written: Do not put your God to the test!"

Foster smiled, "Sometimes the only way to expose your delusion is for me to create miracles, for I am: The inheritor of the book of Exodus!"

36. Foster rushed to a wall beside the king sized bed then stretched his left-arm for a punch. God, for I know you are listening and I will keep believing—please Lord, save us and this kid.

37. With a single strike, the wall suddenly obliterated like an explosive just destroyed it.

When he's about to jump; he already knew that behind this wall is a drop off from the 6th floor of the building, he told the child: "Close your eyes, and have faith for the real God."

38. He jumped off with eyes closed, and yet will full faith in his heart. they landed safely on a dumpster filled with unused cushions.

"Do not be afraid for I am with you."

Those words never left his mind.

39. "Your left-hand will act as a staff that will perform miracles created be me."

Foster pictured himself breaking the wall with his non-dominant hand.

40. "Your right-hand will write the truth."

His right hand who was clutching the bruised girl's knee to prevent her from falling, and the phone that has the photo.

41. When Solomon Vane peeked from the obliterated wall, "You're not a god! But a mere human!!" Foster Yelled before running away.
