Jay and Keifer finally went back to university after missing a whole semester. The teachers didn't question it. Because they knew. Mostly the whole university knew. They knew what happened, they knew what Adrian did, how Jay was taken, why she wasn't at uni.
But that didn't stop the whispers. People who didn't know what really hapened, blamed Jay that Adrian got expelled. Adrian's friends. Some of them believed Jay and well… the others decided that Adrian was the victim.

A week passed but the whispers didn't die down.
It barely affected Jay in the first week. But in the second week things became physical.
Keifer had to leave early to go to Watson Enterprise for a board meeting.
Jay was in the library, looking over her notes befor her quiz in the next period.
A group of girls walked over to her.
Girl 1: "Hi! Jay right?"
Jay: "Yeahh?"
Girl 2: "Are the rumours true? That you played victim? And now Adrian has to deal with the consequences?"
Jay didn't notice the phone then. It was held directly pointing at her face. But hidden by the girl's purse.
Jay: "No. I was kidnapped by him. Taken to Kiefer's monster father. Adrian made me breath in chemicals."
The girls just laughed and walked away.
Jay didn't think much and went back to her work.

Back home. Keifer was in the shower. Jay was on the bed, scrolling through her phone.
Then.
She saw it. A video. Of her.

The air in the room started to feel suffocating.
"I never said that" Jay whispered to herself.
She stood up. Felt light headed.
Her phone fell from her hand. The screen cracked.
The clatter of it touching the floor echoed through the room.
Inside the bathroom. The shower was running. Keifer couldn't here the phone. But his gut was telling him something was wrong.
Back in the bedroom. The room started to spin. Jay could see doubles.
Soon the floor came up to meet her and then.
"JAY"
Keifer had come out the shower. He saw Jay fall.
He ran over and picked her up in his arms. Cradling her head.
he placed her on the bed, carefully. And that's when he saw the phone. The video she was on.
His blood boiled. Some disgusting girls had used her voice to get AI to say those things.
But his first priority was Jay. He called for a doctor and sat beside Jay.
The doctor arrived and checked Jay.
"Everything is fine. She just fainted from shock."
Keifer let out a breath he didn't know he was holding.
After the doctor left, Keifer called the police station.
He told them everything. He told them how Jay had told him about the girls asking her. He told them how he say the video. How he saw Jay fain because of it.
The police believed him. They didn't release Adrian. Because they knew what was true and what was wrong.

Jay woke up after some time. Keifer gave her a glass of water to cool down.
He told her that Adrian was still locked up. She was fine after a while.
