Chapter 1 - chapter 2

The protest grew bigger with each passing day.

What started as a small movement soon turned into a powerful voice across the city. Nishat became the face of that voice—fearless, determined, and impossible to ignore.

Videos of her speeches spread everywhere. People began to listen.

And that made powerful people uncomfortable.

Inside a large office, Arman sat silently as senior party leaders spoke around him.

"This girl is becoming a problem," one of them said. "Her movement is affecting our image."

"We need to stop this before it gets out of control."

Arman remained quiet, but his mind was not at peace.

That evening, he found himself standing near the protest again.

Nishat was speaking to a crowd, her voice filled with emotion. "We are not asking for favors—we are demanding our rights!"

The crowd cheered loudly.

For a moment, Arman forgot everything else. He didn't see a political threat in her.

He saw courage.

Later that night, as the crowd slowly disappeared, Nishat noticed him standing at a distance.

"You again?" she said, walking towards him.

Arman gave a faint smile. "Looks like you're not giving up."

"Neither should you," Nishat replied. "If you really care about people."

There was a pause.

For the first time, their conversation wasn't filled with anger.

"Why are you doing this?" Arman asked softly.

"Because no one else will," she answered. "Because people like you stay silent."

Her words hit him harder than he expected.

"I'm not your enemy, Nishat," Arman said.

"Then prove it," she replied.

Days passed, and something began to change between them.

They started talking more—sometimes arguing, sometimes understanding. Arman began to see the reality he had ignored for so long. Nishat began to see the pressure he lived under.

One night, during a sudden rain, they both got stuck under a small roadside shelter.

For a moment, the world around them felt quiet.

"You're not what I thought," Arman said.

Nishat smiled slightly. "Neither are you."

Their eyes met again—this time without anger.

Something softer… something deeper.

But just as that feeling began to grow, danger was already on its way.

The next morning, news spread across the city—

The protest would be forcefully shut down.

And the order… came from Arman's own party.

Now, Arman stood at a crossroads.

Power… or truth.

And Nishat?

She was about to face the biggest fight of her life.
