The throne room was massive.
Gold pillars. Red carpets. Guards everywhere.
And sitting on the throne—
A king.
"You two," the king said, voice echoing.
"You have been summoned from another world."
Luna blinked.
"…Excuse me?"
Kai crossed his arms. "Summoned? For what purpose?"
"A prophecy," the king replied.
"Our kingdom is under threat. We require heroes."
Luna slowly raised her hand.
"Um. I think you got the wrong people."
A glowing circle suddenly appeared beneath her feet.
"Whoa—WAIT—"
Light engulfed her.
Then—
Pain.
Warmth.
Power.
When it faded—
Everyone was staring at her.
"The Saintess…" a priest whispered.
Luna blinked. "The what now?"
Meanwhile—
Kai's body glowed with a darker, sharper energy.
"A warrior of immense power…" the knight muttered.
Kai looked at his hand.
"…Interesting."
Luna pointed at him. "WHY do you look cool and I look like a glowing lamp?!"
