Chapter 841: The Temple's Holy Spring and Chaos in the Plaza
"So Ren and Sister Cui Lian, you're from six thousand years ago!"
"And to think such things happened back then!"
After listening to Ren's explanation, a heavy, stunned silence settled over the room, broken only by murmurs of absolute disbelief.
"But Ren..." Stephanie Dola frowned, her fingers nervously twisting the fabric of her skirt. "Why did you come to six thousand years later? You had people who cared about you back then. Why leave them?"
Ren offered a faint, easy smile. "Actually, I came here for you."
Stephanie blinked, her breath catching in her throat.
"What I did six thousand years ago caused the timeline that should have belonged to you to disappear," Ren explained, his voice steady and calm. "So, in order to allow you to exist in another way, I created this timeline."
"This..."
Jaws dropped. The sheer scale of his actions—rewriting history and forging an entirely new timeline just to ensure their survival—left them completely speechless.
Shiro, whose arms were already wrapped tightly around his neck, squeezed him even closer. Their physical connection hadn't broken for a single moment since he arrived.
"Brother..." Shiro murmured softly, her large, calculating eyes peering up at him. "Did you come for Shiro?"
"Yes," Ren replied, his hand coming up to gently stroke her white hair. "Not just for Shiro, but for all of you."
He swept his gaze across the room, taking in the beautiful women gathered before him.
"You could say," he continued, his tone dropping into a gentle, unapologetic purr, "that I've wanted to have every single one of you since six thousand years ago. A world where you didn't exist was simply unacceptable to me."
"Ren-ge..."
Hearing that raw, unfiltered confession shattered whatever restraint they had left. Their hearts swelled, emotions spilling over completely.
Emir-Eins didn't even hesitate. She practically shoved Shiro aside, scrambling forward to straddle his lap.
"Ren-ge, please!" Emir-Eins begged, her cheeks flushed with desperate affection. "One more time with me... for the last time in this era!"
"Us too!!!"
The room erupted. A swarm of gorgeous women rushed Ren, their overwhelming affection turning the space into a chaotic, tangled pile of eager limbs and flushed faces.
Watching the frenzy from the sidelines, Fan Lou floated gracefully in the air. She cast a sidelong glance at Luo Hao, who stood perfectly still, her posture rigid and her expression an unreadable mask of calm.
"Cui Lian," Fan Lou teased, a wicked glint in her eyes. "Aren't you going to join them?"
Luo Hao lifted her chin, offering a cool, indifferent smile. "Since my husband will always love me, there is no need to lower myself to such a frantic rush."
"Oh?" Fan Lou's lips curled into a smirk. "Well, if you're not going, I certainly am."
Without another word, Fan Lou drifted directly over the chaotic pile and positioned herself right in front of Ren. Under the envious, chest-pounding, foot-stomping gazes of the other girls, she descended. The wide fabric of her skirt flared out, completely draping over Ren's head and shoulders, hiding them both from view.
"Ren," Fan Lou's sultry voice echoed from beneath the fabric. "You like this, don't you?"
Ren didn't respond verbally—he was already far too busy. Instead, a single hand emerged from under the hem of the skirt, giving a firm, enthusiastic thumbs-up.
Delicious.
"Cheating!"
"Boo hoo hoo, I want to go next...!"
The other women watched Fan Lou and Emir-Eins claim the best positions, stamping their feet in sheer frustration.
Crack!
Luo Hao's knuckles popped loudly. She stared at Fan Lou's flushed cheeks and the watery, provocative gaze the floating woman shot her way. A vein throbbed faintly at Luo Hao's temple.
She desperately wanted to be intimate with her husband too, but her own pride and haughty facade had locked her in place.
Yet, from beneath Fan Lou's skirt, Ren felt the turbulent jealousy radiating from his martial arts queen.
'Cui Lian,'his muffled voice echoed directly into her mind via telepathy.'Can you come to my side? I need you.'
Luo Hao's shoulders trembled. The dam broke. She could no longer suppress the intense, burning affection in her eyes. Her crimson cheeks burned hotter as she gave a small, jerky nod.
"Yes," she whispered, her voice losing all its arrogant edge. "Since my husband requests it, it is only right for this concubine to comply."
Six thousand years ago.
Empowered by Ren's overwhelming strength, Jibril and the others had easily brought the entire world to heel. They hadn't even needed to shed blood. A simple, terrifying display of their borrowed martial prowess was more than enough to force the surrender of all races.
By the time Ren returned with his new wives, the grand, solitary temple at the center of the world was already packed.
Seeing his triumphant return, women from every race swarmed the temple grounds, throwing themselves at him in sheer adoration.
Left with no other choice, Ren helplessly took on the monumental task of soothing them all with his abundant, inexhaustible stamina.
Time lost all meaning.
Across the sprawling temple square, only the pure white waters of the Holy Spring remained pristine. Countless women lay lazily along the water's edge, contentedly immersed in the spring, absorbing the lingering divine power it radiated.
Meanwhile, Ren—the creator of the Holy Spring—had already retreated into the deepest chambers of the temple.
Inside, the newly arrived group had finally crossed paths with their ancient counterparts.
Shiro and Shuvi stood face-to-face. The two girls stared at each other, an eerie, telepathic synchronization instantly forming between them. They exchanged words in a slow, rhythmic cadence.
"You... are me?" Shiro tilted her head.
"I... am not," Shuvi replied, her mechanical eyes blinking slowly.
"I am Shiro."
"I am Shuvi."
Their unhurried, deadpan communication was strange, yet undeniably fascinating to watch.
Nearby, Corone Dola and Stephanie Dola circled each other, eyes wide with mutual shock at their near-identical appearances.
A few paces away, Fiel Nirvalen took one look at Think Nilvalen and immediately dropped into a respectful posture, cheerfully calling her "Ancestor" at the end of every sentence. The relentless teasing left Think laughing helplessly, rubbing her temples.
Despite the bizarre circumstances, the two groups integrated flawlessly. After all, they were all connected by the same man.
When Ren finally emerged from the inner chambers, Think looked up, a wry smile playing on her lips.
"Ren-kun," Think sighed, shaking her head in mild disbelief. "Your 'love' for everyone out in the square lasted for three entire months. It truly was like a god distributing his grace equally to all who revere him."
They stood at the balcony, looking down at the sprawling square. It was hard to tell if the sight of thousands of exhausted, satisfied women was chaotic or simply shocking. The sheer scale of it left them feeling slightly dizzy.
Ren was simply too powerful. The rhythmic chanting and moans that had echoed through the temple hadn't stopped for a single day or night.
"Hehe, these are just trifles," Ren chuckled, waving a hand dismissively. "It was only a few tens of thousands of people."
He spoke with absolute, terrifying confidence. Just a few tens of thousands.
In the future, he fully intended to challenge hundreds of thousands, tens of millions, or perhaps just throw an entire planetary-scale party. But that was a goal for another day.
"It seems you all are getting along well," Ren noted, looking over the mingled groups. "I'm relieved."
Jibril, who had been actively tidying up the room, paused and looked up, her halo spinning slightly. "Are you leaving, Master?"
Ren walked over and affectionately rubbed Jibril's head, messing up her hair. "I still have things to do elsewhere. But don't worry, I can come back here anytime, and I can teleport you to my side just as easily. If you miss me, just have Shuvi send me a message in the Chat Group."
Having already accepted that Ren belonged to multiple worlds, the women swallowed their reluctance. They didn't try to hold him back.
"See you next time," they chorused.
With a final wave, Ren and Luo Hao vanished from the world of Disboard.
"He's gone..." Corone murmured, her shoulders slumping in disappointment.
Stephanie reached out, gently taking her ancestor's hand. "It's okay," she comforted with a warm smile. "He'll be back."
Meanwhile, back on Rhodes Island.
Shortly after Ren's departure, a highly unusual event unfolded.
The heavy doors to Kaltsit's private office slid open. W, the Doctor, Amiya, Theresa, and Ascalon stepped inside.
The moment they crossed the threshold, they froze.
Scattered across the room were several elite operators, all utterly exhausted, their clothes disheveled, fast asleep in various states of undress. The lingering scent in the air told an unmistakable story.
The intruders stared in absolute, paralyzing shock.
Amiya's face turned the color of a ripe tomato. She squeaked, immediately hiding her face behind Theresa's cloak.
Sitting behind her desk amidst the chaos, Kaltsit remained entirely expressionless. Her cold, green eyes slowly swept over the intruders.
Ren had explicitly stated that no one else could enter her office. So why were Theresa and the others able to walk right in?
She didn't even need to guess. Kaltsit knew with absolute certainty that Ren had deliberately bypassed the security locks for them. It was his twisted, mischievous desire to have the aftermath of his actions discovered by the rest of the leadership.
She let out a long, slow breath. She had nothing left to say. Far too many embarrassing things had already occurred in this room over the past few hours.
Choosing the path of least resistance, Kaltsit responded with chilling calmness. She listened to their stuttering, confused explanations, completely ignored their stunned, wide-eyed stares, and simply closed her eyes to go back to sleep.
The Doctor, however, could not maintain such composure.
Staring at the exhausted, satisfied operators, the Doctor gripped his head, his sanity dropping straight to zero. A distorted, unhinged scream of pure envy, jealousy, and hatred tore from his throat.
"Ahhhhhhh! I want some too! I'm so damn thirsty!!!"
Everyone slowly turned to look at the Doctor, utterly speechless at his complete loss of dignity.
In the days that followed, the underlying relationships between the elite operators quietly shifted, carrying a new, unspoken intimacy. But on the surface, the daily, grueling work at Rhodes Island continued exactly as usual.
