Chapter 842 - W, I Think You Really Need a Lesson! Invisible Girl, Majestic Girl

Chapter 842: W, I Think You Really Need a Lesson! Invisible Girl, Majestic Girl

"Yo, yo, yo. Look who we have here. If it isn't the old hag who got completely covered from head to toe."

Crossing paths with Kaltsit in the sterile, metallic corridors of Rhodes Island, W instantly slipped into her favorite pastime: relentless trash-talking.

Even though their past misunderstandings had been cleared up—and Theresa had miraculously been resurrected—the Sarkaz mercenary still harbored plenty of petty resentment toward the Feline's infuriatingly enigmatic behavior back then. A wicked, chaotic grin split W's face. How could she possibly pass up such a golden opportunity to mock her? She was going to roast this ancient lynx alive.

It brought her one simple, deep feeling: satisfaction.

Kaltsit's expression remained a mask of absolute, icy indifference. She continued walking at a measured pace, letting the chaotic mercenary blather on behind her. She didn't offer a single word in response, treating W with the exact same regard one might give a buzzing gnat.

"Old hag, oh, you ancient, wrinkly old— Hiss!"

W, entirely too caught up in her own taunts, suddenly slammed face-first into a solid back.

"Hey! Why the hell did you suddenly stop?!" She cursed, rubbing her nose and taking a quick step back.

Then, her entire body froze. The blood drained from her face.

Standing just ahead of Kaltsit, blocking the corridor, was the one man she could never, ever forget. Ren.

Before the Sarkaz could even open her mouth to salvage the situation, Kaltsit bowed her head slightly. "Master. You've returned."

Ren tilted his head, a dry, amused smirk playing on his lips. "Hmm. What exactly are you two playing at?"

"It is nothing of consequence," Kaltsit replied smoothly, her tone perfectly flat. "W was just expressing how much she missed you. Specifically, she mentioned how deeply she missed the time you had her pinned down."

W's crimson eyes widened to the size of saucers. What the hell was this old hag spouting?!

"Oh?" Ren's smirk widened into a predatory grin. "Is that so? Then I suppose I'd better make it up to her. We can't let her long for those wonderful times in vain."

Ren knew perfectly well that Kaltsit was spinning a blatant, vindictive lie. But he was more than happy to play along. In a flash, he closed the distance. His hands clamped down on W's shoulders, spinning her around and slamming her firmly against the cold metal wall of the corridor.

Instantly, the air around them shimmered. An invisible, soundproof membrane sealed off their section of the hallway, isolating them from the rest of the ship.

W's arrogant expression shattered into utter panic. "Hey! Wait a damn minute! I absolutely did not say that!!!"

Standing safely to the side, Kaltsit curled her lips into a faint, disdainful smile. This was her flawless counterattack. But the Feline wasn't finished. Stepping forward with clinical precision, she actually reached out to help Ren, stripping away the mercenary's obstructive gear and ruthlessly guiding W into a far more accommodating position.

Ren shot the green-haired doctor an appreciative thumbs-up.

W's face twisted in wild, helpless indignation. "Wait— Hiss~" A sharp gasp escaped her lips as Ren made his move. "Ah!!! You damned, vindictive lynx! Kaltsit, you... you just wait until I get my hands on— Mmph!"

Her furious threats lasted only a brief moment before they were completely swallowed by an endless, overwhelming frenzy of pleasure.

Meanwhile, tucked away in the darkest corner of that very same corridor, a young girl crouched on the floor. She had long, pinkish-purple hair, two small wing-like appendages on her head, and a thick, scorpion-like tail that she was currently hugging tightly to her chest.

She was trembling like a leaf in a hurricane. She had absolutely no idea how things had escalated to this point.

She had merely been passing by on her usual patrol route, entirely minding her own business. She had spotted Doctor Kaltsit and that chaotic Sarkaz woman, W, who was throwing bizarre insults at the doctor.

And then... the man appeared. And then, she was forced to witness something incredibly, overwhelmingly embarrassing.

Her face burned bright red. She wanted nothing more than to flee, to sink into the floorboards and disappear. But when she tried to creep away, she bumped into an invisible, unyielding wall that completely isolated this section of the corridor. She was trapped. Panic bubbled in her chest. She had no idea what to do.

Just as her anxiety reached its peak, a terrifying realization washed over her. Ren, who was currently thoroughly dominating the squirming mercenary against the wall, had shifted his gaze. He was looking directly at her corner.

"Do you want to go out?" he asked, his voice casual despite the intense activity of his lower half.

The girl's purple eyes widened to an impossible degree. She loosened her grip on her tail, her voice barely a squeak of incredulity. "Y-You... you can see me?"

"Of course," Ren replied smoothly.

Hearing him speak to empty air, Kaltsit paused her clinical observation of W's breakdown and followed Ren's gaze. Her sharp eyes narrowed. "Manticore?"

"W-Wuwu... Doctor Kaltsit..." The girl, Manticore, let out a pitiful whimper, burying her deeply flushed face into her knees in absolute shame.

Kaltsit's brow twitched. She recalled that Manticore was a Special Operator, possessing a unique physiological trait and Originium Arts that granted her near-perfect invisibility. Which meant... she had been sitting right there this entire time. And Kaltsit, with all her centuries of experience, hadn't noticed her presence at all.

The Feline pressed two fingers to her temple, a rare sigh of genuine exasperation escaping her lips. "Ren. Let her leave."

Ren flashed the trembling girl a warm, unapologetic smile.

Suddenly, Manticore felt the world blur before her eyes. A strange spatial ripple washed over the hallway. In the blink of an eye, the three people in front of her completely vanished.

The metallic corridor remained exactly as it had been. The sterile lights hummed overhead. But the heavy, lustful atmosphere was gone. W's muffled, distinct cries had ceased entirely, and Doctor Kaltsit was nowhere to be seen.

"Was... was everything just an illusion?" Manticore whispered to herself, rubbing her eyes.

Driven by a strange, morbid curiosity, she slowly stood up and crept over to the exact spot where W had been pinned against the steel plating. Blushing furiously, she reached out a timid hand and touched the wall. The metal was freezing cold. There was no lingering body heat, and thankfully, no suspicious puddles of water on the floor.

She stood there for a long moment, her scorpion tail swishing uncertainly behind her. Finding absolutely zero evidence of the scandalous scene she had just witnessed, Manticore finally decided it was best to just leave.

Before rounding the corner, she cast one last, bewildered glance back at the empty hallway.

Meanwhile, safely tucked away within a parallel spatial pocket perfectly overlapping the corridor.

"You have ideas about Manticore?" Kaltsit asked, her tone eerily calm as she watched Ren continue his relentless assault on the now-sobbing W.

"Heh. You're asking a very boring question, Kaltsit," Ren chuckled, not missing a single beat. "I have ideas about all the beautiful female Operators on Rhodes Island." He stated his boundless lechery without a single shred of hesitation or reservation.

Kaltsit let out another soft sigh. This man possessed a truly monstrous, endless well of stamina. Even as he thoroughly dismantled the Sarkaz mercenary, his predatory gaze was already shifting, visibly ravaging the Feline's own body from head to toe.

Kaltsit's fuzzy ears twitched involuntarily. Maintaining her stoic facade, she naturally crossed her arms beneath her chest, lifting it slightly. "Not now," she stated coolly. "You should focus your full attention on W. Just... don't let her die."

"Kaltsit! You— Ah!" W gnashed her teeth in sheer humiliation, but pinned beneath Ren's overwhelming strength, she was entirely helpless to exact any revenge on the smug doctor.

"Kaltsit," Ren purred, his voice dropping an octave. "Aren't you feeling it right now? Why not drop the act and join in?"

He had already seen right through her icy exterior. He noticed the slight, betraying tremble in her thighs and the almost imperceptible quickening of her breathing.

Kaltsit rolled her eyes at him, though a faint flush dusted her pale cheeks. "I am going to spread a certain piece of news about you throughout Rhodes Island later. I will do it in a very specific manner. As for your... contact with the others once they come looking for you... do as you please."

Ren's eyes lit up with genuine interest. Was the notoriously strict head of the medical department actually going to help him choose concubines?

True to her word, Kaltsit only did one small, calculated thing. She used the loud, gossipy nature of Blaze and a few select others to subtly plant a seed of information.

The rumor was simple but devastatingly effective: There is a mysterious individual currently aboard Rhodes Island who possesses the power to grant any wish. Even the incurable scourge of Oripathy might finally be cured.

Later, inside a dimly lit, heavily personalized recreation room.

A cool, fiercely dashing white-haired Feline stood at attention, speaking to a golden-haired woman lounging on a worn sofa. The blonde possessed a lazy, almost lethargic aura, yet an unmistakable, kingly majesty radiated from her very bones as she idly crunched on a lollipop.

Her real name was Vina, but on this ship, she was known by her codename: Siege. This room served as the undisputed territory of her personal squad, the Glasgow Gang.

The white Feline delivering the report was Indra, her closest friend, most loyal squad member, and direct vanguard.

Hearing Indra's animated report, Siege's brow furrowed slightly. She pulled the lollipop from her mouth, asking in a slow, lazy drawl, "And where exactly did this topic originate?"

"From everywhere, boss. Almost everyone on the ship knows about it."

The answer didn't come from Indra, but from another woman who had just stepped through the automatic doors. She had a cool, composed demeanor, rich wheat-colored skin, and dull, yellowish-white hair. Removing her cap to reveal a pair of twitching Feline ears, she stepped into the light. This was Morgan, the tactical strategist of the Glasgow Gang.

"However," Morgan continued, her tone analytical, "after my investigation, I traced the source. The very first people to start spreading these rumors were Blaze and Nearl."

Siege's golden eyes narrowed a fraction. Blaze was a hot-blooded, erratic mess on the best of days; Siege wouldn't have put much stock in a rumor started solely by her.

But Nearl? She had met the Kuranta woman personally.

Her impression of Margaret Nearl was set in stone: an absolutely upright, unyielding warrior. In fact, 'warrior' didn't quite cover it. She was a true knight in every sense of the word—the Radiant Knight of Kazimierz. In Siege's mind, Nearl was the absolute last person on this entire landship who would ever spout baseless nonsense or participate in idle gossip.

A slow, intrigued smile finally curved Siege's lips. "Interesting..."

And she wasn't the only one paying attention. At that exact moment, the explosive news had already spread throughout the entirety of Rhodes Island.
