Chapter 838 - The Birth of Shiro! Shiro Loves Her Brother the Most! Brother Loves Shiro the Most!

Chapter 838: The Birth of Shiro! Shiro Loves Her Brother the Most! Brother Loves Shiro the Most!

Crystal-clear, emotionless eyes locked onto Ren.

The newly returned Old Deus of Doubt tilted her head, her fox ears twitching slightly as she processed the entity standing before her.

"Question: Who are you?" her voice chimed, flat and synthetic.

"Ren," he replied, a lazy smirk playing on his lips. "Soon to be the One True God of this world."

The fox-eared girl fell silent. She was not ignorant, merely doubtful. The very concept of a One True God was etched into her divine matrix.

"Question: Who am I?" she asked again.

Ren chuckled, entirely unfazed by the subtle shift in her crystalline gaze. "Heh. You wouldn't happen to have forgotten your own name, would you?"

He stepped closer, closing the distance between them. "I brought you back. From now on, you follow me. Your name shall be Horou."

"Question: Why?" Horou stared intently at him, her analytical mind whirring. She knew her awakening was solely due to the man standing in front of her.

"Because I can answer your questions and resolve your doubts," Ren said, his smirk widening into a confident grin. "Do you want to know the mysteries of the universe?"

Without waiting for an answer, Ren raised a single finger and tapped Horou's forehead.

A concentrated fragment of universal knowledge flooded her consciousness. Ren knew exactly how to handle an Old Deus of Doubt. Feed her an endless stream of cosmic data. It was the ultimate bait.

Instantly, Horou's eyes glazed over. She slumped slightly, entering a deep, immersive daze as her mind frantically worked to interpret and digest the sheer volume of information.

Leaving the fox-eared deity to her cosmic buffering, Ren turned his attention to the elegant martial artist standing nearby.

"Next up," Ren said, dusting off his hands, "I plan to visit this world six thousand years in the future. Do you plan to head back to your own world, Luo Hao, or do you have other ideas?"

"Six thousand years later?" Luo Hao blinked her beautiful eyes, her interest instantly piqued. "You can traverse time?"

"It's a simple trick," Ren said with a dismissive wave. "And it won't affect the current timeline of this world. Jumping six millennia forward takes less than a second." He tilted his head. "Are you interested in seeing the sights?"

Luo Hao did not answer immediately. She crossed her arms, her silk sleeves fluttering slightly. "Then how long do you plan to stay in this so-called six thousand years later?"

"A few years. Maybe over a decade," Ren mused, rubbing his chin. "It might be a good experience for you."

Luo Hao nodded slowly to herself. Experiencing an entirely different epoch was an enticing prospect for a martial arts master seeking new horizons.

But then, Ren's lips curled into a wicked, teasing smile. "You will have to be careful, though. I cannot help but want to conquer beautiful women. Spend a few years by my side, and you might just find yourself conquered by me."

Luo Hao's delicate brows furrowed, but she did not flare up in anger. Instead, she swept her gaze over Ren, evaluating him anew.

"I gratefully accept your compliment," she said, her tone cool and measured. "But you say you can win my heart. Why? Because of your strength?"

"Heh heh, if you really intend to challenge me, I won't refuse," Ren chuckled. "I can accept the outcome of being killed or being controlled by you."

Luo Hao was a warrior to her core. She firmly believed in the law of the jungle: the victor is crowned king, and the loser is branded a bandit. Even knowing that Ren's power was entirely beyond her comprehension, even knowing she would inevitably lose, she would not refuse any challenge from a strong person.

However, she was absolutely certain of one thing. Brute force could claim her body, but it could never win her heart. She also looked down on the act of bullying the weak when one knew they were overwhelmingly strong. If Ren truly resorted to such base tactics, she probably would never open her heart to him.

Sensing her thoughts, Ren waved his hand dismissively. "Heh, I am not that despicable."

He stepped closer, his eyes locking onto hers with absolute confidence. "I am just confident that I can make you fall for me in a few years. Dare to try?"

"What is there to be afraid of?" Luo Hao shot back without a second of hesitation, her chin held high. "If you can really do it, what is wrong with marrying you as a wife or concubine?"

Her gaze burned with a fierce, challenging light as she stared at Ren, enunciating each word. "If you can do it."

Upon hearing this, Ren threw his head back and laughed, giving her a thumbs-up. "As expected of you, so straightforward."

"Haha, then without further ado, let's go!"

Six millennia in the future.

Technically, the span of these six thousand years was a construct accelerated and shaped by Ren's own hands, but everything within it was absolutely real.

It was here, in this era, that the true Shiro was born.

Simultaneously, the absolute laws governing this world perfectly mirrored the game rules originally established by Tet.

[One] All murder, war, and robbery is forbidden in this world.

[Two] All conflict in this world will be resolved through games.

[Three] In games, each player will bet something that they agree is of equal value.

[Four] As long as it doesn't violate pledge three, anything may be bet, and any game may be played.

[Five] The challenged party has the right to decide the rules of the game.

[Six] Any bets made in accordance with the pledges must be upheld.

[Seven] Conflicts between groups will be conducted by designated representatives with absolute authority.

[Eight] Being caught cheating during a game is grounds for an instant loss.

[Nine] In the name of God, the previous rules may never be changed.

[Ten] Let's all have fun and play together!

A world entirely maintained by these Ten Pledges.

Naturally, there were deviations from the original timeline. Shuvi was not here. Jibril and everyone else who had exchanged words with him during the previous banquet were also absent. In fact, all members of the Flügel race were missing from the board.

Because of this, the world only consisted of fifteen races.

, this world had no Sora. It only had Shiro's older brother, Ren.

Thus, initially, it was he and Shiro, along with Luo Hao and Horou, four people who began their new lives.

They spent over a decade in this timeline.

During those ten years, they accomplished a staggering amount. Ren, true to his laid-back nature, simply spent his days playing games with Shiro.

Shiro, on the other hand, became an unstoppable force of nature. Guided by her brother, she systematically dismantled and defeated one race after another through games.

Eventually, Shiro ascended to the throne. She became the One True God.

And Ren? He comfortably settled into his role as the man standing behind the One True God.

High above the clouds, inside the grand temple of the One True God.

"Brother... I have become the One True God. Love me. Marry me."

Shiro pressed her small, delicate frame against Ren's chest, her face buried in the crook of his neck as she greedily sucked in his scent.

Ren gently stroked her snow-white hair, his voice dropping to a tender, soothing register. "Mhm. Big brother always keeps his word."

This was something he had promised Shiro long ago. Once she had played to her heart's content and claimed the title of One True God, he would marry her.

The tangled silk sheets around them bore witness to the fulfillment of that promise. He had just finally taken Shiro's first time, so at this moment, the usually stoic girl was incredibly soft and clingy to him.

From a young age, she had lived alongside her big brother, Sister Luo Hao, and Sister Horou. But it was always her big brother who doted on her the most. He was the one who took her to play her favorite games, the one who literally crossed worlds to build a reality governed by game rules just so they could play to their hearts' content.

That was why Shiro loved her big brother the most.

Even knowing that her big brother had a different kind of intimate relationship with Sister Luo Hao and Sister Horou, she still loved him the most.

Today, she had finally received her big brother's love in its most complete form.

No, that was not quite right.

Her big brother had always loved Shiro.

"Hehe... Big brother, I love you!" Shiro murmured happily, hugging his arm tightly against her bare chest.

Ren rubbed her little head, a fond smile on his lips. As he held the newly crowned God of Play in his arms, his thoughts briefly drifted to Shuvi, the Ex-Machina girl who looked so strikingly similar to her.

'When those two finally meet,'Ren thought, a highly amused smirk tugging at the corner of his mouth,'things are going to be very interesting.'
