Chapter 832 - Goodbye, Father, and My Cowardice! Three Doomsdays Merge, Chaos Doomsday

Chapter 832: Goodbye, Father, and My Cowardice! Three Doomsdays Merge, Chaos Doomsday

Stella: "Ren, you've said so much, but you still haven't made it clear how Jibril is guaranteed to win?"

Ren: "It's simple: since ancient times, the left side loses in a beam struggle."

Silver Wolf: "??? You're too old-fashioned!"

Kiana: "Emmm, although Ren is the person I love most, even I have to say that's incredibly childish."

Tatsumaki: "Why don't I understand?"

Shiroyasha: "Well, don't feel bad. Even I feel like I can't keep up with how young people think nowadays."

Mikasa: "Can someone explain?"

Silver Wolf: "Simply put, it's a very old trope. There's a ton of entertainment media out in the galaxy, and most of them feature beam struggles—which is exactly the kind of stalemate Jibril and that big guy are in right now."

Silver Wolf: "And in these works, almost every beam struggle ends with the character standing on the left side getting completely overwhelmed and defeated."

Silver Wolf: "It's just an old inside joke: since ancient times, the left side loses in a beam struggle."

Saeko Busujima: "I'm not familiar with those types of works. This is the first time I've heard of it."

Sylvia: "So this is actually just a joke."

Ren: "Haha, although it's indeed a joke, Little Ji has already won."

High above, the God of War, Artosh, ground his teeth together. The sickening crunch of his jaw echoed over the roaring energy. A single drop of sweat beaded at his temple, instantly vaporizing in the blistering heat. Thick, jagged veins bulged across his normally flawless skin, twisting his divine visage into something exceptionally ferocious and disheveled.

Pressure.

For the first time since his creation, Artosh felt the crushing, suffocating weight of true pressure.

He poured his absolute divine authority into his attack, yet he simply couldn't crush the resistance before him.

'How could Jibril's Heavenly Smite be so strong?'

That singular moment of doubt was all it took. He wavered.

Jibril's Heavenly Smite surged, a terrifying tide of black energy violently pressing toward his side of the sky. The heavens themselves, originally locked in an equal divide of crimson and black, began to fracture. Jagged fissures tore through the atmosphere.

It was the birth of a Sky Rift.

It signaled the absolute arrival of Jibril's counterattack.

Her wings flared, fully amplifying her output to suicidal extremes. The Heavenly Smite suddenly roared, expanding exponentially as it pressed relentlessly toward Artosh.

In the blink of an eye, the raging red that dominated his half of the sky was almost completely swallowed by the encroaching black, leaving only a pathetic, flickering trace.

Artosh's expression slipped into a dazed trance.

He had already seen his end.

The mighty God of War, the absolute strongest deity in this world, would ultimately die at the hands of the very daughter he had created as his ultimate weapon.

It was a truly ironic, yet beautiful, conclusion.

"Lord Artosh," Jibril spoke, her voice cutting through the deafening roar of annihilating energies.

His gaze pierced through the blazing, blinding light, locking onto Jibril's resolute, unyielding expression.

"Goodbye, Father, and... my cowardice!"

The blinding black light of the Heavenly Smite completely swallowed Artosh's massive form.

In his final, fleeting moment of existence, the corners of his mouth curled into a genuine smile. To fall in battle against an overwhelming force—such a death was the ultimate satisfaction for a God of War.

However.

The Heavenly Smite did not stop after erasing Artosh. Unobstructed, the apocalyptic beam rushed directly toward the ground, its concentrated mass of destruction threatening to annihilate everything.

A tremendous tremor violently shook the earth.

Mountains began to crumble into dust; the seas boiled and leveled out. This single strike carried enough raw, unbridled power to completely shatter and flatten the surface of the planet.

The earth's crust groaned, beginning to crack wide open.

"She didn't even hold back at the very end," Ren sighed softly.

He casually raised a hand. With a mere thought, he turned the tide, instantly nullifying the apocalyptic power of the Heavenly Smite. The raging energies dispersed into harmless motes of light, and the ruined mountains and boiling seas were flawlessly restored to their original, pristine state.

From beginning to end, the only one who truly died was Artosh.

"I had no choice! I couldn't pull it back in time," Jibril said, landing gracefully in front of him. She fluttered her wings and blinked her beautiful, large eyes, practically radiating an aura that demanded praise.

Ren chuckled and rewarded her with a firm, affectionate head pat. "You did pretty well."

He paused, raising an eyebrow. "But where did you learn that last line?"

'Goodbye, Father, and... my cowardice!' The line was so dramatically theatrical it was actually quite amusing.

"Hehe, I got it from inside," Jibril said, puffing out her chest proudly.

She meant the dream world Ren had created—a highly realistic modern society constructed entirely from his own knowledge and memories. Within that simulation, one could indeed stumble upon media and information that absolutely did not belong to this fantasy world.

"How was it, Ren? Isn't that line super cool?"

"If you think it's cool, then it's cool," Ren replied, utterly exasperated.

It wasn't about whether it was cool or not. It was the fact that she delivered it with such absolute sincerity that it didn't feel out of place at all.

Azriel walked over, her wings twitching with barely contained excitement.

"Ren-kun, next, are you going to unify the entire world to officially achieve your position as the One True God?" she asked, her eyes burning with fanatical devotion.

"Do you think I care about a dusty title like One True God?" Ren waved a hand dismissively. "Besides, all of you now have a Star Cup of your own."

What he said made perfect sense. The title of One True God seemed utterly insufficient to define Ren's true identity anyway. Frankly, the title wasn't worthy of him.

Just then, a flurry of notifications flooded his vision.

[Companion Mission]: Eliminate unknown chaotic factors

Ren narrowed his eyes. Three distinct Doomsdays appearing simultaneously and violently merging to create a brand-new, chaotic Doomsday.

This was the very first time he had ever encountered such a bizarre situation.

Inside the Chat Group, the notifications had already sparked a frenzy.

Kiana: "What's going on? Didn't we just defeat the big boss? Why is there still more?"

Aqua: "Is it possible that the big boss just now wasn't actually the final boss?"

Exusiai: "Uh, actually, Ren didn't go to that world through the Doomsday Companion feature, so that big guy wasn't even a Doomsday boss to begin with."

Kiana: "Oh, I see!"

Shinobu Kocho: "Compared to all that, isn't the special nature of this new Doomsday much more important?"

Kushina: "Indeed. I remember that the Doomsday level of the new member, the Ex-Machina's world, was extremely high."

Shuvi: "Future Doomsday (6-Star), Abnormal Doomsday (7-Star), Uncertainty Doomsday (11-Star)."

Kushina: "That's right, that's exactly it."

Kushina: "Wait, Shuvi? Who is this?"

Ren: "She is the Ex-Machina you just mentioned. She simply changed her display name."

Shuvi: "I am Shuvi."

Kushina: "So that's how it is! I'm sorry, I didn't recognize you just now."

Shuvi: "It's fine."

Bronya: "Getting back to the main topic, a brand-new Doomsday formed by the direct fusion of three separate Doomsdays... doesn't that mean its overall star level will be even higher than eleven stars?"

Durandal: "I don't think low-star Doomsdays with such a large gap in power can have that big of an impact on an eleven-star Doomsday."

Shiroyasha: "Tsk, tsk. Who cares about the exact math? Why don't you all just go over there and see for yourselves?"
