CeCe inhaled deeply the moment the first inner gate began opening.
The heavy iron door dragged against the ground with a terrifying sound that echoed across the dungeon like something out of a nightmare. Cold air rushed outside immediately, carrying the disgusting smell of blood, rotten flesh and something far worse she could not explain.
Her fingers tightened around the sword nervously.
My gosh. Why did this place look like the final stage of a horror movie?
The dungeon itself already looked terrifying enough with five giant inner gates arranged one after another into darkness. Strange symbols were carved across the stone walls while thick chains hung from the ceiling like they were used to imprison monsters far worse than imagination.
And unfortunately… One of those monsters was about to come outside.
CeCe swallowed hard and almost stepped back instinctively before remembering something important.
