The next day.
CeCe stepped into her father's cave in confusion, The voices and the smell carried something unfamiliar that didn't belong to foxes, wolves or other beasts.
She stopped the moment the scene came into view, her brows lifted as her eyes scanned across the gathering, as she had just walked into a business meeting she was not invited to but had every intention of ruining.
Lord Zenobius sat at the centre as expected, looking composed as always, but he wasn't alone. To his right sat a tall man with sharp eyes and an even sharper nose, his shoulders broad, his presence carried a certain lightness that didn't match the grounded aura of beasts. Feathers decorated parts of his dark attire.
CeCe recognised the lord of birds. Next to him was another figure, someone who looked almost too… refined. Her features were smooth, his expression distant yet observant, his presence soft but layered with something ancient.
Fae queen!
