CeCe stayed where the noise of the pack could no longer reach her, sitting alone on a flat rock that faced the sky as if she had personally come there to negotiate with the clouds about her miserable life.
She tilted her head back and stared at the drifting clouds in a daze, her eyes followed their lazy movement as if they were more interesting than everything happening in her life.
Then she sighed tiredly "There's something wrong with me…" she murmured. Her mind drifted back to her past. In that life, she had fought monsters that couldn't speak, Zombies were easier. But there was one thing she had never understood, even back then.
Her sword.....
That sword had never been normal or maybe she was the one. She used to talk to it like a crazy person in the middle of battle and it moved the way she always wanted. It cut deeper when she was angry. It reacted when she panicked. It protected her like it had a mind of its own.
