Inside, the air carried a strange stillness. A long wooden table sat at the centre of the hall. Romeo, Gebrel's younger brother, stood at one end of the table, his shoulders stiff, his fingers clenched at his sides as if he was trying very hard not to regret opening his mouth in the first place.
"Are you sure of what you saw, Romeo?" Klaus, their father, asked in an authoritative tone.
Romeo swallowed, then nodded quickly. "Yes, Father. I'm sure. The Prime Lord is… not something we should take lightly."
