"Ohh wow," CeCe looked at the bird in awe, she had never seen something like that before, she even wished the bird would land on her arm when a loud bird came with annoyance.
The bird landed and turned into a woman, she grabbed the bird before it could land on CeCe's shoulder and glared at her. "Don't you dare harm my son!"
"Me?" CeCe pointed at herself in disbelief, didn't she see they were having fun? "I don't...."
"Stay away from my son!" she yelled at her and left in anger.
CeCe had barely recovered from the emotional rollercoaster of talking to a worm-loving bird child, being rejected by a suspicious mother eagle, and mentally questioning her entire existence when fate—clearly not done humiliating her—decided to throw another problem her way.
And this one came with attitude.
The mocking laughter reached her before the person did, like someone scratching metal against her peace of mind. CeCe didn't even need to turn fully before she sighed tiredly.
