The King's voice echoed throughout the Chambers. Tension builds up on everyone inside the chamber.
The students were slightly intimidated, murmurs can be heard
"W-What's with that crystal it looks dangerous"
" Awakening?... What the heck is that?.."
" Get me out of here!"
Said in nervousness
Souta with an intimidated expression, his legs shaking, but still stood up and relayed assurance to his class to calm them down.
He said with confidence
"Don't worry everyone. No matter what!"
"I will… Bring us home safely"
The students' nervousness slowly subsided after seeing Souta's brave act, their eyes filled with hope.
The group uttered…
" Souta-kun's right well stick together "
"Yes… I Agree"
" With Souta-kun we will be alright"
They said with a tone of inspiration
Kenji locked his sight on the crystal ball with suspicion and thought with an anxious tone…
"That crystal ball! … It Feels so ominous "
Shin set his sharp gaze on the crystal ball,while slowly reaching for his knife in his back pocket. Slightly placed his right leg forward, anticipating a threat.
Jin stood straight showing no reaction, quietly observing and investigating the current situation.
Kazumi still filled with excitement, focused on the crystal ball, murmuring scientific terms, analyzing every visual detail
She uttered quietly
"That crystal… it's a perfect sphere! "
"It's glowing without any light! "
"Is that Dark Particles? ..., it's moving inside the crystal! "
Kazumi adjust her glasses, bouncing with excitement and said
"This is fascinating! … Wahhahahaa"
Haruto, aware of the situation,Body Shaking, his eyes widen towards the crystal ball.
He said with a nervous tone
"I know that ominous ball could be dangerous"
"My body is shaking… But inside me is eager to know how that orb functions"
King Magnus, slowly raised his hand, palm facing forward as an order for silence.
He then said
" Silence!... Let's start the ceremony… "
The room went silent, the tension rises, full of uncertainty while waiting for the King's next command.
King Magnus slowly lowers his hand. He slowly gazes down in front of him was Hiroshi Souta.
Souta, his legs shaking, Body tensed up, intimidated by the King's sharp gaze. But didn't look away from the King's eyes.
The King asked Souta in a calm tone
" You there young man… What is your name?! "
Souta replied with shakiness in his voice
"S-Souta, Hiroshi Souta"
King Magnus's eyebrow raised, his fingers brushed his chin,.
He said
"Souta huh!... Very well.."
"I like you, acting like a true hero in front of your peers"
The King slowly lowered his hand, stood straight, preparing his next command.
He said
"With that… I give you the privilege to be the first. To be awakened!"
The King slowly sat on his throne, placed his arm on rest, and slightly leaned back. Sitting in a comfortable position.
The King then called his subordinate
With authority on his voice he said
"Marc"
Marc kneeling down while presenting the orb of revelation with his two arms abaove his head he responded swiftly
and replied…
"As you wish!, Your majesty"
Marc raised his head, slowly rose, and turned the opposite side to face the audience.
Marc stood straight in a presentable manner with the orb in his hand, holding it carefully,
he then announced with a respectful tone…
"Hero Souta!, please come forward"
Souta slowly starts moving his shaky legs, sweating in nervousness, and his body stiffens. But he arrived in front of the orb
Souta stared at the ominous orb menacingly, his body stiffens just by being close to it.
Marc, in front of haruto maintained his poise and said
"place your palm on the orb of revelation for your awakening. "
Everyone in the room shifts their attention to Souta, Observing, anticipating what happens next.
Souta slowly placed his shaky hands and thought…
"Im scared, but I need to do this!"
His eyes narrowed down with a resolved expression.
Souta's hand finally touched the orb. Dark wave of particles emerged from the orb, crawled from his arms towards his body
Souta's eyes widen with fear , began to panic,
and screamed…
"N-No! …What is this?!"
"G-Get away!"
The mysterious black wave particle went inside Souta's body, it acted swiftly, giving him not enough time to react.
Souta collapsed on the floor, Body Shaking, Eyes tearing up, rolling his body on the floor, placed both hands on his head
He screamed in fear…
"I-It hurts!..Someone p-please hel-lp"
The students eyes lit up in fear, scared, unease, began to panic of what they have just witnessed
Everyone is shouting in fear…
"W-What happened to Souta-Kun?... Is he still alive?!" while having a fearful tone
Some were crying loudly
"I-I don't want this!... I'm s-scared"
Tension has risen even more, Students are being consumed by fear.
But at a distance 5 people remained standing, didn't panic, didn't scream.
While witnessing a person crying for help in constant pain.
Haruto froze, bowed his head slowly, his face quivering in fear, but questioned to himself what just happened.
Rapidly blinked his eyes and thought
"W-What was that dark wave of particles "
"It went inside his body"
Kazumi's sparkling eyes faded, her excitement slowly turned into panic, feeling helpless. But she never laid her eyes off and was contemplating
" T-That guy he's in pain"
" How did that particle affect his Body… I need to treat him"
"but I don't understand the cause"
Kenji witnessed the horror but kept calm,
Slightly stepped backward
"I knew it! .. that ominous crystal was bad news"
He gazed towards the 4 civilians near him.
" I need to bring those 4 with me and escape"
Jin still remained calm showing no reaction.Stood straight, quietly Observing
"After that Horror show… Those students would naturally lose their minds"
His sight shifted in front of him and saw the reactions of those 4 people then began analyzing them with accuracy.
"Haruto's quivering, looking down,and body trembling… He's having a delayed reaction"
"He's almost at the point of breaking down!"
He shifted his attention to Kazumi
"Kazumi's excitement earlier has dissapeared… Her eyes are locked in place!…looking at someone"
Jin slowly matches Kazumi's line of sight. And saw Souta laying on the ground.
"So that's what it is… feeling helpless in this situation when your body froze from shock"
" Must be an awful feeling! "
Jin set his eyes on Kenji
" That commander…I'm impressed, staying calm despite the situation but he seems waiting for something "
Jin notices shin displaced slightly from before
"This guy with lean muscles… Shin was it"
" He is moving impatiently, He might be trying to use this situation as chance of escape"
Shin finally draws his knife, placed in front of his chest, preparing for an attack.
" This is chaos… It's my chance to escape! "
He carefully walked backwards while maintaining his stance, when suddenly…
The King immediately stood up, faint green light started to surround his body then he voiced with intimidation
"SILENCE!"
His voice echoed loudly, visible sound ripples appeared, shaking the chamber, people covering their ears.
Haruto slowly collapsed kneeling on one knee
"Arghhhh!.. My eardrums are gonna burst"
Kazumi collapsing slowly laying on the ground while covering her ears
" M-Make it stop "
Kenji still standing, slightly bent forward covering his ears
"T-This is absurd"
Shin stopped his movement with a knife on his right arm,irritated but still covered both ears,slowly gazed his eye towards the king and uttered.
" I-I'll kill you if you don't stop this"
Jin squinted his eyes, and used his trench coat to cover both ears.
"That green light… Must be why his voice was so powerful"
The voice slowly faded. The chaos stopped, Everyone went silent, but suddenly…
Everyone shifted their focus towards the man laying on the ground.
Souta slowly rose from the floor with full energy.
Marc sets his eyes on the orb of revelation, reading what it displayed, as he announces.
"Hero class… Divine Knight"
