"Huh? A quest?" Oliver asked during breakfast
"That's right. it time you gained some actually experience and test out your new founded knowledge outside your comfort zone and experience real life lessons and strategies " I explained as I ate my pancakes
"I'm up for it!" Chris said pumping his fist in the air excitedly
"We can go get you guys registered at a guild here and pick some basic quests, earning rewards and Cash in the process..." I smiled
"Very well, you may all leave after breakfast" king James said
Yes! Normally I would go solo and snag all the cash prize for myself, but unfortunately I can't to that without them getting suspicious but now I can earn instant money faster and still have these two learn something, it's a win, win!
I unconsciously let out a dark chuckle as everyone stared a me waryly

Chris stared smugly at his new guild membership card, his stats were surprisingly high and he had enough mana to become a holy knight, which apparently is the highest ranking of Knights in this world.
As for Oliver, he could pass as a elemental mage, which was weird since his a beast human, I thought he would also be a potential holy knight...

I walked over to the mission board , they were a lot of interesting missions but they were either too dangerous for the princes or the reward money sucked
"If only I was going alone, then I would have this problem" I sighed, that's when I found a mission decent enough.
"Persefial forest?" I stared at the quest paper.
The quest entailed investing that forest as the adventurers that had previously passed there were traumatized in many ways than one...
"How strange, better look into it..." I turned to catch the boys attention.
"Hey guys I've got a quest!" I smiled

We arrived and the entrance of the forest, all wearing combat gear and attires.
Chris went for a simple, breathable, light yet study clothes.
Honestly I'm surprised he didn't deside wear a whole suit of armor 😒
Oliver went with a casual outfit, just some leather pants a shirt. And I went with my turtleneck sweater and shorts. it Rei's own design....
"So question, what exactly are we meant to be doing?" Oliver asked
"Good question my dear pupil! Today we're investing this forest for herb samples as well as the strange activities from the monster..." I answered
In other words any rare herbs we find along the way are ours for keeps!😌
"And what is that?" Chris asked, pointing to the bag I was carrying.
"Oh just some healing potions, water and food, you know just in case ..."I smily
"In case what?" He asked with a raised brow
In case you decide to screw us over, get lost and get us stranded in the middle of nowhere you unhinged, ticking time bomb...
"Oh, you know in case we miss lunch..." I said with a big smile
"Fair enough!" He said running into the forest with a smirk.
Five minutes haven't even passed and he's already being reckless, usually at these moments, I would pray to the gods that we make it out alright but.... That bi*ch of a goddess isn't worth it!, I much rather prefer Zoro from one piece lead me on this mission😑
"So um how exactly are we going to inspect the monsters behavior?" Oliver asked
"Oh, we'll just present Chris to them..." I pointed my thumb at Chris who looked dumbfounded
"Say what!?"
"Relax, Its not like we're going to tie him up and put him on the spot, although that would be more efficient.."
"Stop saying such horrible scenarios so casually!" He pouted
"Although he's reckless and unpredictable, he's also alert of his surroundings and has a lot of stamina. if he would have been a complete nuisance, than I would have given up on him..." I said with a soft smile.
"I see, very few see brother in such a kind light, your really strange lady shiori..." he said with a soft smile.
"Guys! Be careful! There's monsters near here but I can't see it" Chris announced
"Brother look out!" Oliver pushed him out of the way as a large python warped around his body.

"Hey shiori! Why are you so calm?! Do something!" Chris yelled
"Lunging at it with no plan in mind is being reckless..." I explained calmly
"Are you for real?!" He was shocked
Oliver screams as the phyton drags him deeper into the forest.
"Fine be that way! I'll go save Oliver myself!" And with that he ran forward.
I hope he doesn't do anything too stupid. I sigh walking after him, suddenly a phyton came out of the ground as it wrapped itself around me. Before strapping me to the nearest tree.
Oh no not again!!!
my hands and legs were tied to the tree, I couldn't use any of my skills this way, damnit!
"Hmm Chris-" I stopped myself, if Chris come to save me then Oliver might be in greater panic and trouble.
I just have to hold my own until the two come back safely.

I said the spell some of my mana engulfed me in a light covering, almost like a shield.
Christopher pov
"Huh? She casted a spell?" I sensed mana bring expelled. I turned around to see shiori.

"Hah??!" My jaw dropped
She paused, blinked for a moment as if her brain couldn't process it before looking down.

I dropped my coin pouch in front of her.
"What are you doing?! She asked clearly unamused
"Please take is as compensation..." I bowed My head on the ground, unable to look her in the eye

"W...what the hell is going on?! Is this what other adventurers had experience, being bound and strip naked only to be played with..." a tear slipped down her cheek.
What in tarnation?! And here I thought I've had enough of her body, but her being stripped in front of me frightenes me.
I don't even know where to look?!
"Christopher...." She moaned out in a soft gently whispered.

"Yes?" I stared at her trying to calm myself

I managed to rip off it's body from hers as she sliced it up with webs. I blushed as I took off my shirt and offered it to her

"Hey cover up" he said handing me his shirt
"Thankyou, now let's save Oliver..."
"Oh crap I forget!" He ran as I followed.

"I said I'm sorry..." Chris tried to apologize to Oliver who was pouting
"Come on Oliver.." I begged caressing his head
"Whatever..." He blushed
We went back to the guild and explained everything
"I guess mating season must have came early" the receptionist sighed
"Great work, Here's your reward" he handed us a pouch of 60 gold coins, splitting 20 equally among us....
