Aiden's eyes curved when our gazes met.
Just out of the shower, his smile appeared even more innocent than usual.
I found myself holding my breath as he approached.
I had always thought he had grown taller than me. I already knew that, but…
Seeing him standing there in just a thin white shirt, it was, well… hard to imagine him as the young boy I once knew...
"Hi, Aiden," I managed to compose myself and greeted him.
He responded with another sunny smile, and I could hear people’s faint breathing around us.
It just showed how Aiden normally treated others.
Not that it surprised me much though.
I already knew Aiden had a different attitude towards me compared to everyone else.
But still, this situation felt a little more embarrassing than usual.
"Sorry for dropping by so suddenly, Aiden."
