The lengthy Founding Festival finally wrapped up after three days.
And, well, even after that, the world - well, I guess not the real world - but whatever, it kept on spinning.
Either way, my academy life continued its merry-go-round since I still hadn’t graduated.
"Traitor."
'Hmmm, why is my ear so itchy?'
"How could you run away all alone while I was looking away for just a second?"
'Strange. Is someone talking about me?'
"Because of you, I was left alone to deal with that bastard Luca Lowell...!"
"Miss Chloe Dylan."
As Chloe spun around, fully facing me as she unleashed her fury, Professor Hailey's refined voice put a stop to her tirade.
I played innocent, rolling my eyes casually. 'I knew this would happen.'
"Is it so urgent that you need to have this conversation during class time?"
"Um, well..."
"Or perhaps, you think it's fine since you'll be graduating soon?"
