"Are you sure it's alright if I stay behind?"
Joshua's eyebrows drooped with genuine concern as he repeated the same question for the fifth time.
I nodded once again... for the fifth time.
'I've already told him it's fine. Why does he keep asking? I get it, though.'
"You know what my magic skills are like, and I'm in better shape now. I’ve exercised a lot recently.”
‘I’ll at least be able to beat up and pin down an adult if they pick a fight with me on the street.’
"So, don't worry and just wait here."
"But..."
"Joshua."
At my words, Joshua closed his mouth and lowered his lashes pitifully.
Holding Olivia in his arms, he made it seem like I was heartlessly leaving my family behind and running off recklessly as he looked at me.
Even Heinz seemed to be questioning my need to leave, giving me a disapproving look.
'But all I'm doing is going out for a walk...'
