"Excuse me."
A server approached the table, where Lesa and her friends were engaged in a whispered conversation, leaning in close. This sudden interruption made the girls flinch, mirroring the old saying of "a guilty conscience needs no accuser."
"What is it?" Lesa asked, sharply looking at the server who had interrupted them.
Then, the server showed them what she had brought on a tray.
"It's a… complimentary service."
"Complimentary service?"
Did they offer complimentary service here?
As Lesa sounded puzzled, the server whispered, "It’s a secret," then added, "Yes. Our boss specially requested that this be given only to you."
Lesa glanced at the cake the server had brought. It was the one she had been contemplating earlier.
She then looked back to where the server had been standing. A tall, robust man was there. She couldn't see him clearly from the distance, but he appeared to be a handsome young man.
