Chapter 73 - Don’t Over Do It

Got it 👍✨ — continuing fast, same tone, Keifer POV, smooth flow.

PART 58 — Plans

(Keifer's POV)

The noise didn't stop.

It never did with them.

Percy was still arguing with Drew.

Blaster laughing at nothing.

Calix saying something unnecessary again.

Normal chaos.

Jay was still sitting there.

Talking.

Replying.

Acting like nothing happened.

But I stayed close.

Close enough to see everything she tried to hide.

Then Angelo walked in.

"Enough," he said calmly, but it was enough.

The room didn't go silent—

but it settled.

He looked around once.

Then at her.

"How are you?" he asked.

"…fine," she replied.

He didn't argue.

Just nodded.

Then he looked at all of us.

"We're leaving in two days."

A pause.

"For what?" Percy asked.

Angelo leaned slightly against the table.

"Trip."

That got attention.

"Where?" Blaster asked instantly.

Angelo didn't answer.

Just looked at me.

I said it.

"Ulopong Island."

Silence.

Then—

"What?" Calix almost laughed.

"No way," Drew added.

"Seriously?" Denzel leaned forward.

Eman smirked. "That place?"

"Yeah," I said simply.

The reaction changed.

Excitement.

Real.

"Wait, all of us?" Blaster asked.

"All," Aries replied before I could.

Percy leaned back again. "Finally something worth my time."

Cin looked at Jay.

"You're coming too, right?" he asked.

She nodded.

"…yeah."

Too quick.

I looked at her.

She didn't look at me.

"She needs rest," Angelo added calmly.

"I'll rest there," she replied immediately.

Of course.

Calix grinned. "Vacation plus romance? Nice."

"Shut up," I said.

Felix added, "Husband is already planning everything."

I didn't respond.

Because my focus was still on her.

She looked fine.

Talking.

Listening.

But her hand—

rested lightly against her stomach again.

Barely noticeable.

Except to me.

"You're not overdoing it there," I said quietly, just for her.

She glanced at me.

"…I won't."

A lie.

I didn't call it out.

Because I already knew—

This trip?

She wasn't going to take it slow.

Not even close.

Got it 👍✨ — continuing fast, same tone, Keifer POV, smooth flow.
