Vanessa was leaving a dumbstruck Leo in the room when Leo pointed a
gun at her back and pulled the trigger. Vanessa turned to see Kim
falling. Kim was shot and that too in her chest. She took the bullet for
her. She held her sister as tears strickled down their faces. Leo then left
the room with a grin. "I… I…lo..lo…ve you" Kim managed to say as she
breath her last.
Ivy and everyone entered the room but it was too late, Kim was dead.
"It Leo, he killed her" Vanessa said with uncontrollable tears. They all
went to the ceremonial ground but found Leo pointing gun at Joshua.
Mavis begged but he acted like a maniac and kept on laughing. "I will
end Kingsley's lineage and then kill myself as well" he said as he pulled
the trigger but instead of Joshua, Kevin was seen falling down. He run
to take the bullet and it penetrated it chest. Everything happened so
fast and soon enough, Kevin was in the theatre and Leo was in jail. Kim
too was taken to the morgue. "This is all your fault. You killed my sister"
Vanessa said while pointing her mom. Mavis left devastated to the
hospital. Ivy and Savvy were at the hospital, while the entire family
remain in the morgue.
"Mother, the doctor says Kevin needs a new heart as the bullet scratch
his heart and only a donor can help him. Mom, I don't want to lose
Kevin, he's my world". Savvy, cried hysterically. Seeing this, Mavis
went straight to the prison. "I want to have a word with Leo Ortega".
Few minutes later, Leo was seen coming to visiting room with
handcuffs but he still had this victorious grin on his face. He sat across
Mavis and said "L and M, will always be together Mavis, you came to
visit me. I knew I was always in your heart". "Leo, you shot your son.
Kevin is your son, Leo". Mavis said softly with tears. He laughed very
hard and said "Stop it Mavis, this won't make me feel guilty at all. I
don't have a son, he died along with his mom years back" "Shut up Leo,
shut up!" Mavis snapped at him, which took him by surprise. She took a
deep breath and continued "That day, Kingsley came back home with
Kevin and promised Alice to take care of him like his own. To protect
him from a murderer like you, we replaced him with another dead baby
by his mom's corpse and you made our work easier when you refused
to look at their bodies. We also made sure to change his name from
Joshua to Kevin. That should make Kevin your son and you shot him. I
pray you live all your life with this guilt. This is a mother's curse". After
this, Leo's smile disappeared and now had a confused look, when Mavis left the jail.
