After the incident that happened, Kim decided to rethink her decision
but Vanessa stopped her. At 3:00pm, they were watching a soap opera
when it changed to news read. "It just been few hours when Ivy
Martinez was stripped off her character and here it is another Martinez
has made it to the headlines with the scandal of selling aphrodisiac.
Vanessa Martinez café 'THE KILLER CAFÉ' was investigated and revealed
that, she sells to her customers an illegal drug aphrodisiac". Vanessa
was arrested shortly. "I need to accept this man's offer before he
destroys all of us".
Kim was nowhere to be seen when Vanessa came back from the police
after being release on bail. She didn't bother looking for her because,
she knew Kim has gone to the Martinez mansion to give in to Leo's
demands. 'It's too late' she thought sadly. It became a headline that
evening about the sudden marriage of Leo Ortega and Kimberly
Martinez. That evening too had Ivy's boyfriend Sean addressing the
press and telling them how untrue the scandal was.
"Cous, thank you so much. You are the most selfless person I have ever
come across". Ivy said as they were about to retire for the day since
Kim's wedding was the next day. Kim just smiled and Ivy continued.
"I'm also sorry for my earlier outburst". "It nothing I understand" Kim
replied and both left to their rooms.
The next day, the house was bustling with activities. The stylist was
called to style Kim's hair and get her ready. At 9:00am, everything was
set but the ceremony starts at 10:00am. At exactly 9:45am, Leo arrived
and demanded he had a word with his son to be wife privately. Mavis
readily gave him the go ahead since Kim was in the room alone.
He found her at the mirror with the veil covering her face. She refused
to acknowledge his presence but Leo didn't really care. "I can't wait to
see your beautiful face. I know you are angry with me but am I to be
blamed? You are so unfortunate to have Mavis face and such faces
belong to me alone. You and Mavis will be mine soon". He kept on
ranting on and on and finally the bride said "Really, do you think you
will succeed while I exist?" Vanessa removed the veil and Leo got the
shock of his life.
Vanessa recalled how she got into Kim's place. About 15 minutes
before Leo's entry, Vanessa entered to find Kim crying. She had ruined
her makeup, making her look funny. She was happy to see Vanessa.
"Nessa, you came" she said. "Can I miss my sister's big day?" Vanessa
asked and urged her to go and wash her face so she could retouch it for
her. She then locked up the washroom. She knew Kim will try looking
the spare key in the bathroom and with that time she could pose as Kim and cancel the wedding.
