A person cannot be a giant in thought but a dwarf in action. Therefore, after obtaining a list, Hong Fei immediately packed his luggage and prepared to set off.
"Frank, I leave the house to you."
"Rest assured."
Turning his head, Hong Fei looked at the unwilling Samuel, narrowed his eyes, and said, "It seems you have something to say?"
Samuel shrank his neck and said intermittently, "Boss, I think... with my current appearance, I will probably only cause you trouble. It would be better to let me stay at home and help you with your research..."
"And while you're at it, find an opportunity to control everyone here, then set a trap for me when I return?" Hong Fei followed up on his words.
"No, no..." Samuel naturally shook his head hurriedly. But Hong Fei did not want to hear his explanation. He glared and said, "If not, then get in the car immediately. Why so much nonsense!"
Samuel had no choice but to obediently sit in the passenger seat. At this moment, Dr. Helen Cho happened to come downstairs. Seeing Hong Fei, she asked curiously, "Mr. Hong, are you going out?"
Hong Fei switched to an enthusiastic smile without any trace on his face: "Yes, going on a long trip. If you have any needs, you can talk to Frank at any time, and he will do his best to satisfy them."
"No problem, I wish you a safe journey."
When passing by the vehicle, Dr. Helen Cho smiled and nodded at Samuel. Fortunately, Samuel's large head was blocked by the car frame, otherwise, it would definitely have given her a fright.
Hong Fei got into the car and found that the top of Samuel's head far exceeded the height of the car roof, which forced him to tilt most of his head to sit comfortably.
"Yo, looks like I need to get you a convertible?"
Samuel smiled awkwardly. Hong Fei waved his hand: "Put the seat back and just lie down."
Outside the window, Frank watched the vehicle. Hong Fei shouted at him again: "Remember what I told you about the housekeeper and the financial officer!"
Frank curled his lips, seemingly annoyed by his nagging, and turned away directly. The vehicle started and drove out of the manor.
Along the way, Samuel turned his head to look at the scenery rapidly receding outside the window, and Hong Fei didn't bother to care what he was thinking. After entering New York, Hong Fei said, "Stay in the car later, I have some business to attend to."
"Okay."
A short while later, the vehicle stopped downstairs at Stark Tower. After turning off the engine, Hong Fei didn't even pull out the car keys and walked directly into the building. Listening to the slight sound of the keys shaking, Samuel first moved his ears, then his long head turned around in a round motion.
His gaze landed on the car keys. A strange light seemed to rise in his eyes, and the fingers resting on his knees trembled. However, the feeling lasted only a few seconds. He turned his head away sharply, letting out a heavy snort.
Stark Tower. Hong Fei hadn't gone far inside when a security guard stopped him. The chubby face wasn't unfamiliar, but Hong Fei still wanted to laugh at the man's serious expression. "Sir, who are you looking for?"
"I'm looking for Tony Stark."
Happy raised his thick eyebrows, a strange smile on his face. "You're looking for Mr. Stark? Do you have an appointment? Or do you know each other?"
"I don't have an appointment, but I do know him. He said I count as his friend." Hong Fei answered honestly.
Happy suddenly laughed, placing a hand on Hong Fei's shoulder. "Friends, huh? Young man, do you know how many people like you I've met recently? Countless! Come on, go over there and rest for a while. If Mr. Stark comes down, I'll give you a chance to see him up close. If Mr. Stark is in a good mood, maybe he'll even agree to take a picture with you. Now, please don't interfere with our work. Being a fan should be reasonable and measured, right?" He pushed Hong Fei's back toward the lounge.
Just as Hong Fei was about to speak, he spotted a figure. He immediately waved and called out, "Ms. Pepper!"
Pepper, who had just come downstairs, instantly looked over. Happy hurried to cover Hong Fei's mouth, but Hong Fei dodged without a trace.
Seeing Hong Fei, Pepper greeted him with a smile. "Hey, Hong, you're here."
Happy was stunned, immediately letting go of Hong Fei.
"Ms. Pepper, I came to see Mr. Stark."
Pepper nodded, smiled at the embarrassed Happy, and said, "Hong, why do you need to see him? He's been very busy lately. After going out a few days ago, he hasn't left the house since he came back."
"Ah, sorry, I didn't know that. I just wanted to ask him for an autograph. He told me to come find him in person."
Pepper looked surprised.
Hong Fei added: "I promised a child that I would help him get Tony's autograph."
Pepper understood. She turned and invited, "Come with me. I'll take you to see him."
"This... then your business..."
"It's okay, I'm not in a hurry."
"Sorry for the trouble."
"You are too polite."
The two walked together. Happy stared at their backs, dazed. He hadn't expected to run into a real one after stopping so many fakes. Taking the elevator to the top floor, Hong Fei saw Tony, who was busy, under Pepper's guidance.
Several complete sets of armor stood in a transparent cabinet on one side of the room, immediately capturing Hong Fei's attention.
Pepper wasn't surprised. After all, the first thing everyone who came here looked at was that steel.
Tony leaned over the desk, eyes like torches, utterly serious. Through the glass, Pepper pressed the doorbell. Tony turned his head slowly. When he saw Hong Fei, he raised his eyebrows and waved to open the glass door.
Stepping inside, Pepper took the initiative. "He came to ask you for an autograph."
Tony stood. "I know. I remember this. I thought he would come very early. I didn't expect it to have been so long; I'm afraid he didn't really want it."
Pepper smiled. "You're right. He's asking for it for a child, which shows that not all adults worship Iron Man."
Tony looked at Hong Fei and saw only a simple, honest smiling face. Pepper opened the cabinet, took out an Iron Man model, and handed it and a marker to Tony. Taking them, Tony coolly signed his name on the back of the model, threw the pen away, and walked toward Hong Fei with the model.
"I really thought you would come earlier." Hong Fei smiled shyly. "The news said that you encountered a lot of things at that time, so I didn't want to disturb you."
"Very good, take it."
Taking the model, it was clear that it was exquisite, and it felt heavy in his hand. After Hong Fei left under Pepper's guidance, Tony suddenly spoke.
"Jarvis, is it him?"
"Sir, the comprehensive analysis results show a similarity of 27%."
"Is it high?"
"Very low."
"I really thought you would come earlier." Hong Fei smiled s...
