~Gianna's POV
By the time we got to the amusement park, the sky had already settled into that deep evening glow, where everything felt softer but somehow louder at the same time because of the lights.
The entrance alone was enough to make my chest feel full.
Bright colors stretched across the gates, music drifted through the air, people moved in groups, laughing, shouting, calling to each other, and for a moment I just stood there, taking it in like I had stepped into a completely different world.
Then it hit me properly. I let out a loud, unfiltered scream of excitement, turning slightly toward Matteo without even thinking about how I looked.
"This is perfect," I said, my voice full and alive in a way that surprised even me.
Matteo looked at me, and although he shook his head slightly like he always did when I got like this, there was something softer in his expression.
"I had a feeling you would like it," he said.
