Soft morning light filtered through the curtains.
Jay slowly blinked awake.
Warmth.
Strong arms wrapped securely around her waist.
Keifer.
His hand rested possessively yet gently against her stomach, his chest pressed to her back. His breathing was calm, steady.
She smiled faintly.
She shifted slightly — his arm tightened instinctively.
"Don't move," he murmured sleepily.
She turned her head a little. "You're awake."
"I was. You woke me."
"I barely moved."
"You moved enough."
She rolled over slowly so she was facing him now.
His hand slid from her waist to her back, keeping her close.
"You have meetings today," she whispered.
"So do you."
"Then we should get up."
He leaned down and pressed a slow kiss to her forehead.
"We should."
Neither of them moved.
Her fingers traced lightly over his collarbone.
He caught her hand and kissed her knuckles.
Then her lips.
Soft. Slow. Morning-soft.
When he pulled back, his thumb brushed her cheek gently.
"Stay," he murmured.
"Keifer…"
Before she could continue, her phone started ringing on the side table.
She sighed and reached for it.
"Hello?"
Immediately—
"BABY SISTAHHH!"
Keifer closed his eyes.
Jay laughed softly. "Why are you shouting?"
"I'm coming today."
She blinked. "Today?"
"Yes. And I'm seeing you first."
Keifer sat up slightly and held out his hand.
She hesitated — then handed him the phone.
"Come to the mansion," Keifer said calmly.
There was a pause on the other side.
"…Oh? Mansion invite? Interesting."
"Come."
Call ended.
Jay looked at him.
"You're bold."
"I don't run."
Later — Watson Mansion
The main doors opened.
Percy stepped inside.
He stopped.
Looked around slowly.
"…This is not a house. This is a kingdom."
Jay hurried toward him and hugged him tightly.
"Baby sistahhh," he said dramatically, squeezing her back.
Keifer descended the stairs with his usual composed expression.
Percy looked up.
They locked eyes.
Silence.
Then—
Footsteps.
Keigan walked forward first.
He stood straight.
"Good afternoon," he said politely.
Percy blinked.
"…Oh. You're the well-mannered one."
Keigan nodded once. "Yes."
Before anyone could say more—
"KUYAAA!"
Keiran ran into the hall and hugged Keifer's leg.
Keifer lifted him easily.
Keiran then noticed Percy.
He tilted his head.
"Who are you?"
Percy crouched immediately to his level.
"I'm Percy. Professional chaos. And you?"
"I'm Keiran!" he said proudly.
"Nice to meet you, Mr. Keiran."
Keiran giggled instantly.
Within seconds Percy was making funny faces.
Keiran laughed loudly.
Jay covered her mouth, trying not to laugh.
Keigan watched calmly but a small smile appeared on his face.
Percy suddenly whispered loudly to Keiran, "Is your kuya always serious?"
Keiran nodded dramatically. "Yes."
Percy gasped. "We must fix that."
Keiran laughed again.
Keifer watched the interaction quietly.
Jay stepped beside him.
"They like him," she whispered.
"They don't open up easily," Keifer replied.
But Keiran was already holding Percy's hand and dragging him somewhere.
"Come! I show you my toys!"
Percy stood up and saluted Keifer dramatically.
"Permission to bond with small boss?"
Keifer sighed slightly.
"Granted."
Percy grinned and walked away with Keiran, already laughing together.
Keigan walked closer to Jay.
"He's loud," Keigan said calmly.
"Yes," Jay replied.
"But he seems kind."
She smiled softly.
"He is."
Keifer looked at Jay.
Then at his brothers.
Then at Percy making dramatic airplane noises while Keiran laughed loudly.
For the first time—
His home felt louder.
Warmer.
Less quiet.
He looked at Jay quietly.
"You bring noise with you."
She smiled teasingly.
"You don't like it?"
He watched Keiran laughing freely.
"…I don't mind it."
And that?
That meant everything.
