Chapter 4 - The First Sign

The day ended like any other.

But Kabir felt uneasy.

Like something wasn't right.

Like something was about to happen.

As he walked home, the streets were busy.

Cars passing.

People talking.

Life moving normally.

But his thoughts were somewhere else.

"Aarya…"

Her words.

Her expression.

Her warning.

"Then suffer."

"Was she serious?" he whispered to himself.

Suddenly—

A loud horn blasted.

Kabir turned his head.

Too late.

A speeding bike came rushing toward him.

Everything happened in seconds.

His body froze.

His mind went blank.

"This… is it—"

SCREECH!

The bike swerved at the last second.

Missing him by inches.

Kabir fell to the ground, his heart racing wildly.

The rider shouted angrily and drove away.

People gathered around.

"Are you okay?"

"Watch where you're walking!"

Kabir couldn't respond.

His hands were shaking.

His breathing uneven.

"That… almost killed me…"

And then—

A thought hit him.

Cold.

Sharp.

Terrifying.

"Then suffer."

His eyes widened.

"No… this is just coincidence…"

"It has to be…"

But deep inside…

He wasn't convinced.

That night, Kabir sat on his bed, staring at nothing.

The near accident kept replaying in his mind.

And somehow…

It felt connected.

Meanwhile…

In a dark room somewhere in the city—

Aarya stood near her window.

Looking at the night sky.

Her face pale.

Her eyes filled with silent fear.

"It started already…" she whispered.

Her hands trembled again.

She closed her eyes tightly.

"Why didn't you stay away…"

A sudden cold wind blew through the room.

Even though the windows were closed.

The lights flickered.

And for a moment—

A shadow moved behind her.

Unseen.

Unnoticed.

Watching.

Waiting.

Aarya slowly opened her eyes.

Like she could feel it.

"He's in danger now…"

And far away…

Kabir suddenly felt a chill run down his spine.

Like someone…

Or something…

Was watching him too.

Suspense Ending

Kabir stood up from his bed and walked toward the window.

His heart felt heavy.

His mind restless.

"This isn't normal…"

"This isn't coincidence…"

And then—

His phone vibrated.

Unknown number.

He hesitated.

Then picked up the call.

Silence.

No voice.

"Hello…?"

Still silence.

Then suddenly—

A faint whisper came from the other side.

"Stay… away… from… her…"

The call disconnected.

Kabir froze.

His grip tightened on the phone.

His heartbeat rising again.

"Who… was that…?"

But somewhere deep inside—

He already knew.

This wasn't just a warning.

This was a beginning.

And whatever had started…

Was not going to stop easily.

What exactly is the curse… and who is watching Kabir?
