Chapter 47 - Chapter 47: The Core of Deletion

The interior of the stealth carrier was a labyrinth of glowing blue circuits and cold, white steel. But everywhere Caelum stepped, the floor turned into silver binary dust. The ship's alarms were screaming—not a siren, but a rhythmic pulse of error codes.

[WARNING: SYSTEM_VIRUS_DETECTED]

[LOCATION: MAIN_ENGINE_ROOM]

"I'm not a virus," Caelum whispered, his voice echoing through the ship's speaker system. "I'm the update you've been waiting for."

He reached the center of the ship: the Gravity Core. It was a massive sphere of black liquid data that powered the Sentinels' flight and weaponry. Standing guard were four Elite Guardians, their bodies made of solid obsidian and their eyes glowing with a murderous red light.

"Step aside," Caelum commanded, his Data-Scythe humming with forbidden energy.

The Guardians didn't speak. They moved in perfect synchronization, their obsidian blades clashing against Caelum's silver weapon. The force of the impact cracked the ship's hull.

Caelum realized that physical strength wouldn't be enough here. He needed to use his Architect powers to rewrite the environment.

[SKILL_ACTIVATED: DOMAIN_SHIFT]

In an instant, the gravity in the room reversed. The Guardians, heavy with obsidian code, crashed into the ceiling. Caelum, weightless, flew through the air like a phantom.

With four rapid slashes, he didn't cut their bodies—he cut their Connection Strings.

[STATUS: GUARDIANS_DISCONNECTED]

The elite units fell to the floor, lifeless husks of data. Caelum stood before the Gravity Core. He placed his hand on the black liquid. Instead of destroying it, he began to inject his own silver code into it.

"Aethelgard needs a power source," Caelum smiled. "And you just volunteered."

[COMMAND: OVERRIDE_OWNERSHIP]

[CARRIER_STATUS: REPROGRAMMING...]

Suddenly, the red lights in the ship turned silver. The Carrier didn't explode; it transformed. It was no longer a weapon of the System—it was now the flagship of the Glitch Legion.

Outside, the citizens of Aethelgard looked up in awe as the massive obsidian ship descended slowly, not to attack, but to land as their new protector.
