"Marry?"
Ivy stared at Xander, the word echoing in her mind.
For a moment, she simply gaped at him, as though the idea itself was too foreign to process.
Xander's smile slowly faded.
"What?" he asked, searching her face. "Don't tell me you never intended to marry me in the future."
His question pulled Ivy out of her daze.
She blinked several times before letting out a nervous laugh.
"That's... a huge step, Xander."
She lowered her gaze.
"We've only recently become part of each other's lives. Yes, we're Leo's parents, but beyond that, there are still so many things we don't know about one another."
She looked back into his eyes.
"How can you be so sure I'm the right person for you?"
The question carried more weight than Xander realized.
Deep inside, Raven's heart trembled.
All her life, she had dreamed of finding someone she could truly love, building a peaceful family, and raising children in a home filled with warmth rather than violence.
