"What? Damn it! You knew someone was on our tail and didn't ditch them before coming here? Now everyone knows I brought Qin Yuan here!" Young Master Dong roared furiously, his face contorted with anger.

"They're here!" Liu Shaofeng added.
"Hmph, good! Just you wait!" Young Master Dong leaned against the hood of a Mercedes, his subordinate busy lighting his cigarette. As he smoked, he kept his eyes fixed on the factory entrance.
Soon, Su Ming and his group arrived. Seeing Liu Shaofeng and the others parked inside the factory workshop, they drove in as well. Su Ming got out of the car and immediately scanned the enemy group. Liu Shaofeng wore a sinister smile, while Yun Yong smirked ambiguously. Both men looked at him with ill intent. Su Ming saw Qin Yuan, held captive behind the group of dozens of men, with two women forcing her into a chair.
Qin Yuan spoke to Su Ming, her voice tense. "You have to save me! I don't want to fall into their hands! The man in the white suit is no ordinary person—he's Young Master Dong of the Red Sea Gang! He captured me to threaten my mother!"
"What does your mother do?" Su Ming asked, puzzled.
"She's in the underworld, you idiot! The leader of the Jade Forest Gang is my mother! The Jade Forest Gang and the Red Sea Gang have always been at odds! I just realized Young Master Dong isn't targeting you—he's targeting me! If he gets his hands on me, he'll have leverage to make trouble for the Jade Forest Gang!" Qin Yuan had recognized his scheme the moment she saw Young Master Dong. She'd met him before—his methods were utterly despicable!
"So that's it!" Su Ming nodded. No wonder he had a nagging feeling something wasn't right. With Liu Shaofeng and his companion's capabilities, how could they have dared to pull off such a stunt?
It seemed they had found a powerful backer. Su Ming's gaze fixed on Young Master Dong as he said, "I don't care what gang you're from. One word: release Qin Yuan, or you'll regret it!"
"Kid, who the hell do you think you're talking to? Lower your tone." Young Master Dong's face darkened with displeasure. This guy didn't even show him the respect he deserved, which was a huge loss of face. How could he maintain his swagger before his subordinates if he didn't put this punk in his place?
Young Master Dong flicked his cigarette butt aside and glared at Su Ming with venomous eyes. "You're Su Ming, aren't you? Took down Liu Shaofeng and his pal—got some skills, huh? I want to see just how good you are. Liu Shaoyu, go teach him a lesson!"
"Understood." Liu Shaoyu chuckled lightly and stepped forward, positioning himself opposite Su Ming. "I heard you have a superpower. I'm eager to see what yours is."
Su Ming's blood ran cold. How did they know about his superpower? That was impossible—he hadn't told anyone, not even his closest allies. How could his enemies have found out?
"Bullshit, stop pretending. You think you're the only one with superpowers?" Liu Shaoyu sneered. "Let me tell you, I'm an Ability User too. My power is muscle enhancement. I'm telling you this because it's impossible to hide. Once I use it, anyone can see it instantly."
Liu Shaoyu's words startled Su Ming again. *Another Ability User?*
Su Ming had always thought he was the only lucky one to become an Ability User. Now he realized how naive he'd been. Superpower Chips—these things that granted powers—must be a high-end business. Something hidden in the shadows, not something ordinary people could access.
"Muscle enhancement, double boost!" Liu Shaoyu suddenly roared. A faint, peculiar light began to swirl around his body. His muscles bulged to an unbelievable degree, far more developed than before, looking thick, solid, and brutish. Su Ming's brow furrowed. *He wasn't lying. He's already using his superpower.*
*This is bad,* Su Ming thought. *My superpower is on cooldown, and it'll take three more minutes to recover. Three minutes is enough time for him to beat me with his current skills!*
*Whoosh!* Liu Shaoyu charged forward, throwing a punch that glowed faintly with energy. The force of the strike was astonishing, tearing through the air with a *swish* as it hurtled toward Su Ming.
Su Ming dared not meet the blow. He knew that a single hit would instantly defeat him. Liu Shaoyu's superpower was muscle reinforcement, enhancing his body's durability to levels his own frail form couldn't withstand. He dodged to the left, his speed barely matching Liu Shaoyu's. Otherwise, he would have been flattened by that punch!
"Hmph! You've got some moves! What about your ability? Don't you want to use it? Or are you confident you can beat my muscle-enhanced self without superpowers?" Liu Shaoyu growled, annoyed by Su Ming's lack of response. He felt utterly disrespected!
*Damn it! You think I don't want to use it?* Su Ming thought bitterly. *It's just on cooldown!* He had three minutes to wait. For now, he had to keep evading, keeping Liu Shaoyu at bay. Right now, Liu Shaoyu was just a brute force fighter, and letting him get close would be like walking into a trap!
"Hahaha! Hahaha! Kid, is that all your ability amounts to? You said I'd regret it? That's hilarious! Just one of my lackeys is enough to send you running like a coward. What's the difference?" Young Master Dong watched the duel between the two and burst into laughter, his voice filled with excitement.
Nearby, Li Lili and Li Gao watched Su Ming being relentlessly pursued, their frustration growing with every moment. *Wasn't Su Ming supposed to be a great fighter last time? Why is he so terrible now?*
If Su Ming lost, their lives would be in danger. These thugs were brutal—they'd already attacked a teacher with knives right at the school gate. What else were they capable of?
The three minutes of chase and evasion passed quickly.
"Hmph! Time for me to attack!" Su Ming immediately activated a time-slowing ability, applying a double-slowdown effect to Liu Shaoyu. Liu Shaoyu's face paled as he stared at his own body, unable to believe the snail-like pace. *Damn it! What did this guy do to me?!*
"Idiot! His ability slows people down! Dodge quickly!" Young Master Dong recognized Su Ming's power almost instantly and shouted a warning to Liu Shaoyu.
