After about ten seconds, the radiance finally subsided. As he opened his eyes, he saw his right arm. On the bronze, muscular skin of his forearm, he witnessed an unbelievable sight: his hand... no, his arm... had gained something. It was the translucent, jade-like cyan chip, and several lines of text were now visible on its surface.
"Congratulations! You have successfully merged with the Superpower Chip. You are now its owner and possess the superpower of the Superpower Light Chip."
Suddenly, a voice identical to the system's notification sound responded from an unknown source. Su Ming looked left and right, finding himself completely alone in the house. He wondered where the voice could possibly be coming from.
"Who are you? Where are you?" Su Ming asked, his face tightening with suspicion.
"I am the Superpower Chip. You are my master," the voice replied.
"Oh, I see! Master, what? What the hell? Master? Get lost! I'm not your master! If it were a pretty girl, a flirty, sexy mature woman, then I might consider being their master. But you? What the hell would I want with you? How is this even fun?" Su Ming said, his face twisting into a lecherous expression. *If only some alluring beauty were to call me her master... Heh heh heh, my life would be so sweet!*
Ahem, back to business.
Su Ming stared at the strange light membrane in his hand and asked, "What the hell are you? What are you doing inside me? Explain yourself!"
"I am the Superpower Chip. Due to insufficient energy, I urgently need to inhabit a human body, or I will cease to exist." A voice echoed in Su Ming's mind.
"A Superpower Chip! So, like, something that gives you superpowers?"
"Yes. You have already merged with me. My superpowers are now your superpowers. You can use them for any purpose you wish."
Su Ming's interest piqued. "Really? So I can use superpowers in the real world too?"
"Of course. As you please."
"What kind of superpowers do you have? Tell me quickly!" Su Ming asked eagerly.
"Time Acceleration and Time Deceleration. These are two divergent abilities. You cannot access the main ability yet because it hasn't been upgraded, and I cannot reveal it to you."
Su Ming immediately disregarded the main ability. What mattered now was understanding the superpowers themselves—what they were, how to use them, and how they could help him. "Tell me about these superpowers. What can Time Acceleration and Time Deceleration do?"
"Certainly, Master. I will explain now."
**Time Acceleration**: As the name suggests, this ability accelerates the flow of time, breaking the normal pace of reality. You will gain mastery over speeding up time.
For example, if you're studying a textbook, under normal circumstances you'd absorb knowledge at a standard rate. But if you use time acceleration at double speed, you'd absorb twice the amount of knowledge. At four times speed, you'd absorb four times the amount, and so on.
For instance, if you're working and use double time acceleration, your workload would also double in speed. If you want to help your family or friends, you could use time acceleration to alleviate their burdens. In short, time acceleration has countless applications: moving, running, rushing to a destination, even gambling. As long as your time acceleration level is high enough, you can achieve anything. If you can imagine it, you can do it.
Time Deceleration: The opposite of acceleration, this ability slows down time. If you want to beat someone up, using time deceleration on your enemy would make you faster, giving you a decisive advantage to take them down. In a race, you could use time deceleration on your opponents and claim victory with effortless grace. If you fancy a beautiful woman, you could use time deceleration on her and carry her home, or even punish her, tease her—it's all easily doable. Though I doubt my master would stoop to such shameless acts, both time acceleration and deceleration have their own unique merits.
Su Ming's eyes lit up with golden light as he finally understood the capabilities of his two superpowers. He was absolutely ecstatic. *Holy shit, this is too amazing!*
"Can I use them now?" Su Ming asked eagerly.
"Yes."
Su Ming immediately rushed outside and used time acceleration on a passing man. He pressed the acceleration ability on his left hand's Superpower Light Membrane, pointed it at the man, and activated it. The man's walking speed immediately doubled, becoming faster than cycling. The man looked utterly bewildered, as if he'd seen a ghost in broad daylight.
"Heh heh, this really works! I actually have superpowers..."
Unable to contain his joy, Su Ming excitedly returned home and burst into laughter. After a long while, he calmed down and asked, "How many times faster am I accelerating time right now?"
"Two times. Both acceleration and deceleration have the same effect. The duration is ten minutes. Higher levels increase the duration. There's a thirty-minute cooldown between uses."
"That's too little!" Su Ming pouted. "Wouldn't it be amazing if I could go ten or even a hundred times faster?"
"Impossible. You've just learned how to use it and don't have enough Superpower Points to double your acceleration level. You can only use double acceleration for now. You'll need to earn Superpower Points to increase the duration. Going from double to triple acceleration costs one Superpower Point, and from triple to quadruple costs two, and so on."
"Oh, I get it. So how do I get Superpower Points?" Su Ming sighed with a hint of disappointment.
"It's simple. To earn Superpower Points and increase your acceleration duration, you need to 'take down' women. One woman counts as one point, a virgin counts as three, and a woman who takes you down counts as five. You can only earn one Superpower Point from the same woman. Once you get enough points, you can level up!" Even though the Superpower Chip was an intelligent AI, it still had a sense of self-awareness, making the explanation undeniably awkward.
"Holy shit, that's how you get them? I'm in awe! Brother Yin, the one who created you, is a true genius!" Su Ming said with genuine admiration. It seemed he'd have to start "taking down" beautiful women to earn Superpower Points. But... why did he kind of like this setting? *Giggle.*
Su Ming grinned lecherously, his mind filled with lewd fantasies. After a while, he said, "Right, you don't have a name, do you? I'll give you a cool one: Super Little God. You don't mind, do you?"
"No objection," Super Little God replied.
"Damn, I forgot to go to school!" Su Ming cursed inwardly, realizing he'd already missed the start of class. He knew his math teacher would chew him out endlessly later; that teacher was the most long-winded and annoying.
He quickly locked the door and activated the time acceleration. "Ding! Acceleration successful!" A gust of wind surged forward. Su Ming ran so fast he barely had to wait for a car. His speed surpassed many motorcycles, leaving their riders dumbfounded. "Is... is that even human? How can he run so fast?"
In just eight minutes, Su Ming reached the school gate, panting but grinning wildly. "A life of awesome, here I come!"
