Chapter 5 - The Super Beautiful School Belle

My Beautiful Group of Beauties: The Super Beautiful School Belle

"Sister Qin Yuan, don't be discouraged! You only got one question wrong, it's no big deal!" said a girl with a cute, pink face and a mischievous smile. (╭(╯3╰)╮)

She was Li Lili from Class 29, notorious for her pranks and mischievous nature. With her youthful, baby-faced charm and adorable, lolita-like appearance, her pink cheeks, twin ponytails, petite frame, and captivating dimples made her utterly lovable...

Li Lili turned her head with a grin, pouting playfully.

"Hmph! Do I look discouraged?" Qin Yuan laughed haughtily, showing no sign of disappointment.

"Really? But you look so listless, Sister Qin Yuan," Li Lili said, tilting her head and pouting.

"Lili, you're asking for it! Watch me teach you a lesson." Qin Yuan pinched her cheek.

Su Ming watched strangely. Girls were making side comments in class without being called out, but he'd only added a few words and nearly got himself roasted. What kind of treatment was this?

"Hmph!" As if sensing Su Ming's gaze, Qin Yuan suddenly snorted at him.

"What are you humming about?" Su Ming and Qin Yuan had been at odds ever since he accidentally knocked over her lunchbox during a meal. She had been angry with him ever since, and now, whenever their eyes met, she either gave him a cold stare or a haughty look. In short, they couldn't stand each other.

"I'm not humming anything! Just watching someone look unhappy."

Su Ming just rubbed his nose and ignored her cold response. *Since she's so arrogant, fine. I'll be the one to bring her down a peg.*

As he thought this, Su Ming suddenly raised his hand and said, "Teacher, I can answer this question." His sudden move drew the attention of the entire class. The students were surprised, but most were dismissive. *Even Qin Yuan, the class beauty and top student, couldn't answer it. And you, with your grades all in the red, think you can? What a joke!*

"Su Ming, are you crazy? How can you possibly answer it? Didn't you see Qin Yuan struggling?" Li Gao, his best friend, was worried about Su Ming's bold move. *If he can't answer it, he'll just embarrass himself.*

"Don't worry. Don't you trust me?" Su Ming smiled confidently.

"I'd have to be crazy to believe you," Li Gao rolled his eyes. "No offense, but your grades are worse than mine. How could you possibly answer that question?" Having known Su Ming longer than anyone, Li Gao was intimately familiar with his habits, academic performance, and general demeanor. There was nothing about him he didn't know.

Seeing Su Ming actually dare to raise his hand, a hint of disdain flashed in Qin Yuan's clear, beautiful eyes. Her elegant, fair face radiated pride as she glanced at Su Ming and said dismissively, "Even I, with my exceptional intellect, can't answer that. What makes you think *you* could? You'd just embarrass yourself."

"Hehe, Sister Qin Yuan is right!" Li Lili chimed in, pouting. "You're such a dummy, Su Ming! If you get it wrong, you'll have to go cry!"

Su Ming, seeing the two of them team up against him, showed no sign of anger. He gave Li Lili a warm wink, which made her face flush with irritation, and she yelled at him.

"Heh! If you're so confident, Su Ming, come on up! I'm eager to hear your answer." Xia Lina smiled gracefully, also surprised. As the Chinese teacher and homeroom advisor for Class 29, she was well aware of Su Ming's academic standing—likely the worst in the class. Where did he get this courage?

As Su Ming walked past Xia Lina, he suddenly felt a jolt. A mature woman's fragrance wafted past his nose, making him feel incredibly invigorated. He secretly praised her, *As expected of a great beauty—her body's scent is so intoxicating! It's driving me wild! If only I could kiss her, touch her, hold her... Ah! The world would be dazzling!* A wicked grin flashed across Su Ming's face, but Xia Lina didn't notice. Otherwise, he feared he'd be dragged out of the classroom!

*Scribble, scribble*

Su Ming picked up a piece of chalk and began scribbling in a dreamlike, fantastical style.

*Okay, that's it. The answer's written.*

Although many classmates couldn't decipher his handwriting, sparking a murmur of discussion, Teacher Xia Lina seriously examined his answer. Her beautiful face lit up with repeated expressions of surprise.

*Pfft*

Finally, the entire class burst into laughter. *This guy's handwriting is atrocious! How dare he try to show off in front of everyone?*

Qin Yuan pursed her lips and giggled a few times, a mischievous grin spreading across her delicate face. How could she believe Su Ming could answer the teacher's profound Chinese question? Seeing his utterly bizarre and almost nauseatingly ugly handwriting, she couldn't help but tease him.

"Qin Yuan, what are you laughing about down there?" Xia Lina asked.

"Ah... nothing, nothing! Teacher, his answer must be wrong, right?" Qin Yuan said with feigned certainty.

"Wrong my foot! He got it right," Xia Lina replied.

"Ugh..." Qin Yuan's face fell. Seeing the teacher's disapproving gaze, she couldn't help but lower her head, feeling awkward.

*Why? How could he get it right? This is so unfair and embarrassing!*

A torrent of emotions surged through Qin Yuan—anger, disappointment, and above all, resentment. She was furious at Su Ming's performance. Having always been the star student, this was the first time someone had stolen her thunder. Feeling a sting to her pride, she shot Su Ming a cold glance. To avoid making the atmosphere awkward, she buried her face in her textbook, using it to hide her face.

"Excellent, Su Ming. I'm truly surprised you could answer my question. You may return to your seat. Also, everyone, work harder! You all looked down on Su Ming, the student with the worst grades in the class, yet he was the only one who could solve a problem none of you could. You should learn from him. His success must be the result of tremendous effort. Now, let's continue the lesson." Xia Lina smiled and called Su Ming back to his seat before addressing the class.

"Hmph!"

As Su Ming passed Qin Yuan, he heard her snort coldly. He grinned back at her, his expression radiating pride, which nearly drove the pampered young lady mad. Her clear, beautiful eyes seemed to spit flames.

Gritting her teeth so hard the sound of grinding could be heard, Qin Yuan glared at Su Ming. Seeing his smug smile, she deliberately stuck out her right leg to trip him.

"Ah... *thump*."

Caught off guard, Su Ming stumbled and nearly ate dirt. He felt an urge to tackle her, but he restrained himself. *Damn, that was low. Women are so petty.*

"Die, Su Ming! Serves you right for making me look like a fool!" Qin Yuan sneered triumphantly.

*Alright, offending a woman is the stupidest thing I could have done,* Su Ming thought, accepting his misfortune. *But I won't let this slide. She tripped me? Just wait until after class, you'll pay for that. Hmm, with my superpowers, should I punish her... or do something else?*

Time flew, and the Chinese class ended quickly. Xia Lina left the classroom with a smile, and the students erupted into a clamoring frenzy, scattering to their own activities.

Li Gao sidled over, his face beaming with awe. "Dude, you actually got praised by Xia Lina? That's awesome! We're all so jealous. By the way, when did you get so smart? Spill it—have you been tutoring lately? Or is someone helping you out?"

"Nope," Su Ming denied flatly. He'd love to hire a tutor himself, but could he even afford it?

The cost of private tutors was astronomical; his mother's salary wouldn't stretch that far. He had no business even considering such a luxury. But now that he had superpowers, many things he couldn't do before were within reach—including making money. He already had the ability to do that.
