Early the next morning, after breakfast, Ryu took Karupin to Teiko Junior High School.
Teiko Junior High School was a prestigious school in the Tokyo area and also a super powerhouse in junior high school basketball.

Ryu was genuinely surprised. He knew the Teiko basketball club was popular, but he hadn't expected it to be this popular.
Looking at the long queue, Ryu felt helpless. There was nothing he could do; being a newcomer, he could only obediently wait in line.
He glanced around but didn't see the Generation of Miracles or the others.
Looks like those guys hadn't arrived yet. Time ticked by, and just as Ryu was about to fall asleep, it was finally his turn.
"This is the club application form. Just fill it out and give it to me."
The senior student in charge of recruiting members wasn't very enthusiastic.
He didn't even glance at Ryu before handing him a form.
Ryu didn't seem to care. He took the form, filled in his information, and handed it back.
"Senior, I've filled it out."
The senior student, who was about to take the form, finally looked at Ryu, but when he saw his face, he froze.
Ryu stopped in his tracks, about to turn and leave.
"It's you?" The senior student was initially surprised, then his expression turned playful.
Ryu recognized him too, looking at him with a complicated expression.
The senior across from him gave a strange smile and said to Ryu, "Oh, isn't this the hero who stood up for justice! So you're still alive! I thought you were dead! Tsk tsk tsk... what a pity."
Ryu understood the teasing, but too lazy to respond, he simply said, "Don't worry, I'm younger than you, so naturally I'll live longer."
