Chapter 12 - Report 9- School Make Up

Three days later.

"…Hm?" Albert sits up from bed feeling better and more clear headed. "Those… those where her memories."

He looks around to see blood splattered everywhere. The scent of blood, cooked and burnt meat hit his nose.

'God damn.'

"Lancelot?"

He got up and looked around to find only the kitchen was of need of cleaning. He was appalled by how dirty it was.

"Why the fuck is there a boar here?" He saw a boar's skeleton thrown aside of the room.

'So much to clean up. For someone so pretty even under a visor they sure are messy.'

He first decided to clean everything up and open the window to let the smell out. He also decided to keep what he saw to himself for now. Next he took a quick shower and put on some new clothes.

"Haa… That's better." He then went to his phone to see several missed calls from Tsuyu and the school, but most of them were from Tsuyu. "Damn… Alright first I need to check in with handler."

Albert goes into the kitchen, gets a expired cereal box, and takes out a burner. He has a lot of burners. He firsts plugs it in to charge and calls him.

Click!

"So your alive huh? Haven't gotten word from ya in three days. If you were gone for another four days we would have began to suspect you ran away, or something."

The very notion of him dying was unbelievable to them. The most at which Albert was MIA was 16 hours and 22 minutes, that was mostly because he was in the jungle and he had to go undetected without any electronics.

"Three days? That's how long I was out?"

"Oh? You were out huh? Did Mirko kick your ass that hard? Damn. That bunny girl can kick pretty hard to knock you out."

"I was not knocked out, I was kicked through some fully loaded crates! But I will admit she got a hit on me after I choked her out. She is a very tenacious hero with a thirst for combat. Nevertheless the warehouses were burned to the ground so the mission was a success."

"That is true. The mission was a success, Mirko even got some guy named—"

Albert saw the shadow cast by the sun and in his head determined the time almost immediately. He was very late for school, the thought almost escaped him. Another first for him.

"Handler I am sorry, but I need to call the school and—"

"Don't worry about that, although the guy does have some brain damage resulting in some unexpected developments. Anyway. They called and I told them it was a family emergency."

"Oh I see… What was the excuse you gave?"

"Up to you. I left it vague for you to go with what you want. At least that is what they told me. Had to get someone to talk to the school. I am pretty famous you know."

His handler was fairly famous from what he told him. Apparently because of his Quirk he is requested and hired by special people to train their children or people to be powerful heroes. Allegedly he trained All Might and the current number one hero of America, Star and Stripe. It's allegedly because he lies as naturally as he breathes with the only thing Albert can say for certain that the orders he gives are the truth.

"Thank you sir. I will inform you of what I go with. Until next report."

"Until next time." He hung up the call.

Albert crushes the burner into fine dust and throws it out the window.

"…I need to win the Holy Grail." He clenches his fist tightly again as if to ascertain his resolve. "I will be free from this leash."

Albert checked the time again to find it was lunch time.

"I guess I'll call the school. Just started and I am already missing classes." He looked at his hand to see the Command Seals. "Dammit. I'll need to go stop by a store."

He hurries and gets ready for school with a quick shower, he dries himself off by manually heating up his own body to dry himself quickly. Once finished he checked everything and leaves with a thought:

'Where is Lancelot?'

As Albert leaves his apartment in his school clothes and closes it, as he does a voice sprung up to his side, the universe—fate even, answered him.

"Master!!"

He turned to see a white haired girl hug him suddenly.

"Oof!"

She hugged him with some force and strength.

"Master! Your awake!" Lancelot looked up at him with her visor-less face.

"Lancelot?" Albert recognized some of Lancelot's most eye-catching features. "What happened!?" Yet her voice and body had changed slightly. "Your bigger now!?"

Lancelot took a few steps back for Albert to have a good look at her.

"Hm! Hm!" She grinned with pride. "Impressed master!" she said with her chest puffed up and her hands on her hips. "Hey is your head okay?" She patted his head to see if it was fine.

"I am fine." He brushed her patting aside.

Albert could see she matured with a more curvy figure, she still looked rather young but far more mature then before. Her hair had a red ting coming down to the ends, and she was wearing a lovely white and blue attire that made her appear almost like a charming prince from a far off land. She no longer has her visor and Albert could see her now cool golden eyes, with a slight slit to them.

"You don't look like a child anymore. But how? And where did you get your clothes? You look good in them but where did you get them?"

"I ate the bone you let me have! I even gave you some to help you recover. For the clothes I went around and took what I liked."

She stole them from around the prefecture.

"Lancelot can we talk as we walk? I am going to school so—"

"Have you eaten breakfast?" She said a bit concerned. "I brought you more food!"

She walk back and lifted a big, dead, boar. He checked the time again and sighed. He was already late, no point in rushing... but he did wish to go to school. But he can't just let the state of his room remain as is. He was trained to always be neat and clean, with not even a single strand of hair on the bed or in the entirety of the room.

"…Okay first thing is this. I am going to process this boar and you!" He points at Lancelot. "Clean this mess up. Got it? I am already running late."

"Of course! I have been cleaning up my mess!"

"Uh-huh."

A quick boar processing and blood clean up later and they were off. And by off it was Albert running to make up for the time wasted.

A few minutes later.

"Servants are something. You can dematerialize huh?" Albert said jogging to the train station.

"I can go into my Spiritual Body. It should be easy on my upkeep."

"You have an upkeep?"

"I do. Master your mana is impressive. Especially since you now have a Mana Core."

"Mana Core… You said before it was a Dragon Heart?"

"Yes, think of it as a magic generator. I have one as well."

"Then after school maybe you can train me to use it."

"I am more than happy to, master!"

"Oh and call me Albert. I want us to be on equal grounds."

"Very well Albert! And my name is Mélusine."

'Mélusine? That could fit to what Aurora was gonna say?' Albert thought.

"So you're not Lancelot from King Arthur?"

"No. I merely was given his name. But even Mélusine is not my true name."

'I see. Well not like Albert is my true name.'

"Hm… I can say the same I have several names. Albert is just my newest one."

"We are very much alike. Do you know your birth name?"

"I do. And you?"

'Numbers are not a name.' Mélusine thought.

"Yes. Albert, as much as I wish for us to learn more about one another I… I wish to keep my birthname to myself."

"That's fine by me, Mélusine. For now, no talking, people are coming up."

"Got it!"

After a train ride later they could talk once more.

"Albert tell me. Do you still wish to partake in the Holy Grail War? You seem better mentally. Your eyes do not hide a coldness like before." Mélusine asked.

"Hmm... I do feel more clearheaded." He bobbed his head left and right.

"As expected! You got my Magic Resistance! So that pesky annoying mind magic was rooted out!"

'Those scummy bastards. It took him three days to probably get those magic spells on his mind to get purged.'

"Mind magic? I was under mind magic!?" Albert said very concerned.

"Yes, from how long it took to my magic resistance to nullify it, it must have been ages since it was placed on you. So they might have either weakened over time or they weren't that strong to begin with. But given then state of the world..."

Albert's expression soured but he expected they had more insurance on him.

"Then my government does know about the existence of magic. Mélusine we are going to win the Holy Grail War, and I am going to wish for my freedom."

His wish made her happy. From what she saw of his past he wished for his separation of the ones who used a child as a weapon.

"Then I will fight for your freedom as well, Albert!"

"Thank you, also do you know anyway to hide the Command Seals?" He said lifting his hand. "Really hoping you do since their magic in origin, yes?"

"They are and I do not know. I wasn't exactly a Magus. In retrospect maybe I should have picked a few things up from the queen, but why would the strongest creature learn Magecraft when I am already the strongest."

"Well shit. We have to stop by a store and get makeup."

"You can do ones makeup? I thought only servants, women, and the vain knew how to do that."

"What gave you that impression?"

"My personal experience of my pre-heroic spirit days and now. I looked around the city, a lot, looking around and the like to familiarize my self with the current Pan-Human Era."

"Pan-Human Era?"

"Not important. Trust me!" She said proudly. "With me as your Servant victory is assured! So give me some trust and faith."

"Though trust and faith are given it is up to the person I gift them to, to either keep receiving them or lose them."

"It's really not that important."

"Hmm... That'll cost you some trust and faith."

"Do I still have enough for your level of cooperation?"

"Enough."

"Then I'll be sure to work to earn more from you."

After stopping by a store and getting some makeup Albert masked his Command Seals.

"Your pretty good." Mélusine said. "If I didn't see you apply it I would think nothing of it!"

"Thanks. I once used it to win a children's beauty pageant."

"What is that?"

"It's where parents make their children look pretty and get rated by adult men or women."

"… That sounds very wrong."

'But if given the choice of that or what happened to him as a kid in that white room the beauty pageant is heaven in comparison.'

"It is. The pageant was just a cover for some Hollywood elites, CEOs, foreign royalties, a lot of things to buy either children or organs."

And just like that her first thoughts are wasted.

"… You had a really rough life."

"I would say it's debatable on the perspective one has, personally I found no problem with it."

'I guess he adjusted to his situation… How terrible for him to think this is okay. Even the human children under Aurora's care lived better than the children of this world.'

"How am I, a servant have less baggage then you?"

"You sure do know some modern terminology huh?"

"The grail endows us with information it deemed necessary of the current era."

"Oh~ Cool."

A while later he made it to school, but it was already past lunch. Albert went onto the campus and went to the teachers room where he walked up to Aizawa.

"Oh, you're here." Aizawa said.

"I called ahead to inform the school. I assume there is work from the last few days since I was gone?"

"There." He points to a small stack of papers. "There is even a little extra." He said smiling. "Finish them by tomorrow or else I will have you expelled."

Albert walked over to it and got a pencil from Aizawa's desk and began to do three days of school work.

"Sure. Easy enough."

Scribble~ Scribble~

Tap!

He finished one paper within 5 seconds.

Scribble~ Scribble~

Tap!

Scribble~ Scribble~

Tap!

He quickly began to go through the papers one another the other.

Aizawa took one and went over it to find all the answers were perfect.

"…We should have given you more and harder work." Aizawa said putting the paper down.

5 minutes later he was done.

"Well if there is anything left I will be back tomorrow."

"Wait. There is one thing." He turned to his fellow teacher. "Present Mic get him his costume and take him to Ground Beta."

"What!?" Said Present Mic, a man with blonde hair and leather jacket. "I'm eating Aizawa!!"

"Show him since he missed out on All Might's Basic Hero Training!"

"!!" Present Mic's eyes widen. "I am on it! Come on kid! Let me get you your costume and show you the way!"

Present Mic showed him with glee.

Present Mix took him to his classroom and pressed a button. The walls opened up to reveal several empty cases with only one with a number 21 on it.

"Here you go your costume!" Present Mic tossed him a brief case. "Follow me!" He said leaving the room.

"…I don't have a good feeling about this."

"Albert do you want me to—"

"No." Albert cuts off Mélusine with a low tone of voice. "Until I say the order stay in your Spiritual Body. I can handle my own."

"Okay… Albert." She said a bit saddened.

He follows Present Mic all the way to Ground Beta.

Currently in Ground Beta was four people.

"I can't wait to fight him!!" said Bakugo.

"Hm." Said Shoto Todoroki, a red and white haired boy with a burn mark on the left side of his face.

"Yeaaah!! Let's do this!!" said Kirishima.

"Do you think if we beat him the girls will dig me!!" said the short purple one (Mineta).

They were all in their hero costumes.

Watching beneath them in the monitor room were the rest of Class 1-A.

"Now all we have to do is wait!" said All Might. "Albert should be coming soon!"

"I can't wait to see how he fights!!" said Denki Kaminari, a boy with blonde hair with a thunderbolt in it.

"Hm! Hm!" Midoriya said. "I want to see how the number one of our class goes against four people!" He had with him a note book.

"Ribbit, Mr. All Might sir." Tsuyu said. "Don't you think it's a little unfair to go against four people?"

"Of course not! With his results from the exam he is strong and skilled enough to take the whole class!" All Might answered with confidence.

"But still sir it's four against one." Said Momo Yaoyorozu, a girl with long black hair tied into a spiky ponytail.

"Tsuyu." Said Ochaco Uraraka, a girl with a pink blush and shoulder-length brown hair. "You were in his block during the exam right?"

"I was, ribbit."

"Do you not have confidence in him?" said Tenya Ida.

"I do but…"

"Heh~" Mina Ashido, a girl with pink skin and hair smirked as she looked at Tsuyu. "Are you maybe… worried about him? I saw you two leaving together."

"!!" Tsuyu face turned red. "N-no!"

Everyone who saw her felt there was something there.

A few minutes later Albert walked into Ground Beta.

"Haa… Time to get a nuke… Again."

"What is a nuke?" Mélusine asked.

"Really? The grail didn't deem that necessary? We are in Japan?"

"Your not seeing this but I am shrugging my shoulders."
