Chapter 1 - The Naughty Boy how He Became Brilliant student (Chapter 1)

Once in a small village surrounded by greenery there lived a boy named Akash. Everyone in his surroundings knew him due to his endless naughtiness.

Akash was a kind of boy who would never sit still. In the class meanwhile other children in the class listened to the teacher, he would throw paper balls, whisper jokes, or eat snacks under the desk. In his village he would climb trees break window glass with his cricket shots, and teased neighbours. Some of him took it lightly,but most of the people were tired of his mischiefness.

His parents were worried of him

"Akash's" mother would say gently, "you're wasting your time. You're a intelligent boy, but you don't use your mind properly".

But Akash would not listen and run of to play again.

At school, things weren't much better. His teacher were constantly complaining about him

"Akash has potential", said his class teacher, one day during the parents meeting "Akash lacks discipline. If he continues like this, he will struggle in his life" said his class teacher.

Akash unheard this, but instead of feeling sorry, the just rolled his eyes. To him, life was for fun--not studies, and not discipline.

The Turning Point (Chapter 2)

One day something unexpected happened.

During a science period, the teacher announced a competition: "We will have a science exhibition next month. Everyone should prepare a project".

Akash whispered "this is going to be so boring" he said to himself.

But his best friend, Arun, was excited, he said "I am going to build a volcano model!". "What are u doing" he asked.

Akash silently said to himself "I'll just copy something at the last movement.

Says passed, and Akash's classmates worked hard on thier projects, Akash just wasted his time as usual. When the submeeting date came closer, he got panicked.

The night before submission day, he tried to make something quickly. But nothing worked out. His project looked messy and incomplete.

The next day at school everyone displayed their projects proudly the models were having creative ideas and colourful presentation.

Akash's project sat in a corner, poorlymade.

When the judges came, and saw the project, they barely glanced at it.

A Movement Of Realization (Chapter 3)

That day for the first time, Akash felt something surprised.

When he saw his classmates receiving praise. Arun also received first prise. Teachers smiled at them and appreciated them for there effort.

But when they came to Akash, then they said "You could have worked much better and you have bean receiving the price.

He took the words seriously.

For the first time, Akash realized something: everyone else were working hard and moving forward, and he was standing still.

That evening, he sat quietly at a corner of the room. His mother noticed and asked "what happened".She asked

"You're not going to play today?"

Akash asked his mother "Amma...am I really bad at my studies.

His mother sat beside him and said "No, Akash. You are not bad you don't try.

That sentence stayed in his mind forever.

The First Step (Chapter 4)

The next day, something surprising happened in the school.

Akash raised his hand in the class.

His class teacher was shocked and said "yes Akash".

He was hesitanted, and then said, "I don't understand yesterday's lesson. Can you explain it again teacher"he asked.

The class went silent. He was not that Akash they knew.

From that day Akash began to change slowly.

Akash still had the same energy, the same excited, but now, he started to use his mind differently. Instead of making naughtyness, he would ask questions. Instead of wasting his time, he began to complete his homework.

At first, it was difficult for him, he couldn't focus for long time. He could makse mistakes. Sometimes he felt like giving up.

But every time he remembered that science exhibition day and the teachers words, how he was left back.

Struggles and Growth (Chapter 5)

Changes didn't come overnight.

There were days when Akash stepped back into his old habits. He would joke too much in his class and avoid studies.

But this time something was different in his mind, he noticed his own mistakes and corrected them.

His teacher started noticing the changes in him, the teacher said.

"Good Akash" said the maths teacher one day you will improve study well.

That small prise meant everything for him.

At home his parents were happier too forhis hardwork. His father, who scolded him for his naughtiness and now he ih encourageing him. "Keep going" he said."Consistency is the key"

Akash didn't understand what "consistency" mean at first. But he wants to understand it at anyway.

A little bit of studying day by day.

A little bit of focus.

A little bit of naughtiness.

The Breakthrough

Months passed.

Exams came.

This time, Akash worked hard and prepared seriously. He revised the lesson continuously, asked questions for himself and he even helped his friends.

When the results were announced, everyone started gathering near the notice board.

Akash was hesitanting before seeing the notice board.

Then he saw it.

His name was among the topper students.

He couldn't believe it was him.

"Akash! You did it!" Arun started appreciating him.

For a movement,Akash just stood near the notice board, staring at his marks. The same boy very naughty and didn't care about studies had now achieved something in his student life.

From that day, everyone stopped calling Akash, as "The Naughty Boy".

Instead, they said "Akash is a Brilliant student".
