Kael's POV.
The strange man walked in looking around the room and studying our faces. He fixes his attention on Elara and his smile widens.
"I must say, I wasn't expecting a party." He cackles.
"Enoch, what are you doing?" Elara whispers at him. "Aren't you here to help us, remember?"
He bursts out laughing again, holding his stomach to contain himself. "Are all humans like you? Gullible and naive." His smile glitches off and he smacks his lips again. "You do look pretty, I must say."
She hisses and grits her teeth.
"You are here to kill me, aren't you?" I cut her short.
He cracks a warm smile and purses his lips again. "I'm sorry Alpha, but that was the order given to me,"
"By whom? My brother? An elder? I know who sent you, you can as well just…"
