The burly man in the lead handed the items to one of his men, then walked over to Stella Sterling and Zane Xavier.
"Is something wrong?"
Zane Xavier stopped what he was doing, looked up at the man, and walked over to stand before him, watching him silently.
'Could I have misjudged the situation? Is he going back on his word and getting ready to attack us?'
Stella Sterling looked at the man, but she wasn't as tense as Zane Xavier.
'I heard the entire conversation between him and his men just now.'
'So he probably isn't here to cause trouble. He might have noticed that I gave him more food than we agreed on and is coming over to thank me.'
