Of course, she hoped it wouldn't come to that.
If it did, then he couldn't blame her for being ruthless.
At that point, she'd just feed him Honest Pills around the clock. She wouldn't have to worry about prying information from his lips, nor would she have to worry about him lying to her.
But then the man would lose his own consciousness, spending his days in a daze, answering whatever she asked. He'd be no different from a living corpse.
So, she hoped he'd be sensible, smart, and stay in line. It would be best if he didn't even think about trying to deceive her.
Otherwise, he would be the only one to suffer the consequences.
Andrew Shaw wasn't surprised to hear this. Right now, his greatest value lay in the information he had about the apocalypse.
The fact that she was so upfront about it actually put him at ease.
